In an era when new and more powerful batteries are being developed and solar panels are more powerful, the upper fly is unnecessary. If it were fully equipped with solar panels instead, a very powerful and less diesel-dependent hybrid yacht could be created. Those who think about it will sell more. definite!

Hi there, Greenline Yachts is certainly one of the leaders in the industry when it comes to battery maintenance and solar power, as well as their 6th-generation hybrid systems. On the Greenline 45 Fly there is a hard top option that can be covered in solar. There is also a Coupe version with up to 2.97kw available. Obviously, this first boat was not specced as such but this is how other Greenline 45s are being specced.

The visibility from the lower helm looks terrible, especially when standing. Let me know if I'm wrong.
I never understood why they install a radar array feet away from where people will be sitting….
Excuse me, I wanted to ask, but don't Yanmar engines have the station option like Volvo penta IPS engines? thanks if you can answer.

I think you mean joystick option and yes it is available with Yanmar engines but in my opinion it is better to fit a Dockmate wireless system that can be used anywhere on the boat.
Oh ,did the hybrid engine change away from 2x220 hp to a high power engine?

The hybrid comes with 2x320 hp or 2x370 hp yanmar engines, combined with 2x20 kw electric motors.
What's the range, please?
I don't object to a fly bridge, but I very much object to an air-draft greater than 15 feet.
