Some of the best dircast ever

We need to contact quality control at greenlight.I am sad about the fate ahead for the Monaco. Barely out of the package and the wrecking claw will soon be its closest friend. All of the sets are truly great looking and a must have for any collector. Thanks for sharing all of them.

Did I just see the trailers fits down the Orange track and stays on?!?! The crappy tow hitches on his matchbox are driving him crazy when they pop off so easy! Now I need some of these for the sick tow hitches! Not to mention I love the beautiful castings so I really want them for myself! Thanks for the details in your vids.

FRANKSKIDS Thank you for watching, and the comments! The trailers do fit, although the big cargo trailer might be too wide for the track, I have not tried it yet though, LOL.

wtffor where did you buy these ? Was at the greenlight company? Or ebay? If so do you know have the users name thanks Rick

I've seen the trailer jacks come loose but thats an easy fix. I bought the Greenlight Hollywood set at Toys R us, the one with 10 cars including the Frightnight car, the Smokey and the bandit monaco, the catch me if you can car, and so on. In that case 6 of the 10 cars had some kind of issue. A few had warped axels so the wheels would not roll very well. And recently I bought the flat bed tow truck off ebay from MyGrandsons, the tow truck had a broken light bar and a broken rear bumper.

milincoln Greenlight really needs to step up quality control, I have a feeling that this is happening as the company is booming and sales are up a lot, so they are having growing pains no doubt as they become more mainstream. I have faith in the designers, because I love love love my Greenlights.

wtffor I agree, i feel like they are rushing product which is why so many of these new castings don't even have opening hoods.

Awesome series! I have not made any Greenlight purchases... yet. However, they look fantastic! I'm sorry to see that you received several defective samples.

Just made my first one the other day as I stumbled upon a chase car...shame because I was hunting HW

Greenlight seems to be having issues with QC in their new factory, the cars without Guandong on the base seem to be having the problems. The Crown Vic's from the new factory all seem to have base fitment issues and sit lower on one side. The worst one I have is a '14 Dodge Charger from the 100th line and its axel is almost a quarter inch too long (looks so silly from the front) and the tyres are all misshaped. I can't fault anything from the Guandong factory, but the 4 out of 5 cars I have from the new factory have some not so subtle QC issue .

I just bought the 2022 greenlight starsky and hutch gran torino, and when i got it open, one of the front wheels was broken, the wheel was pushed in too far on the front axle!

Oh no! If I gave my 3 year old son a broken trailer hitch he probably would start crying! How could they screw up such an important detail on such beautiful cars like this!? It is the towing series of whatever! Geez!

I definitely dig the series...on an unrelated note I came across what I believe to be a green light chase (yellow 69 charger with green wheels and base). Any chance you could put up a video about the differences in chase cars from green light, m2 and auto world? Love the videos, keep it up!

Austin Batista You definitely have a Greenlight Chase car. I would love to make that video for you but I've never been fortunate enough to acquire a Greenlight or M2 chase car... :(

I bought the Dodge ram from series one and mine was missing the hitch as well. Needless to say i was ticked cuz that's the whole point of this series lol

I was looking at the prices for this series. That is a lot to ask for when most are broken. Time to fix the quality control.

My C10 that I bought today has the rear end sagging enough that the hitch touches the ground and puts the trailer on a downward angle. Pretty disappointing.

I'm a fan but man that's a big quality question. I had a similar issues with a siku recently, what can you do. Are you going to write and complain.

Kount Five Well I like the seller I bought these from on ebay, and I don't see it as his fault at all. So I won't be following up on that route. And really, I'm just too busy too write GreenLight and complain. I love the series, I just hope they get the hint that these trailer hitches should be made of metal, not plastic, and that the packaging needs to be more robust. Who knows, maybe they will see this video if it gets enough views and want to correct the situation on their own! Here's hoping!!

I believe that eventually employees do see their products reviewed and your highlighted issues may well be seen. As to whether a better tow bar is installed as a result will be interesting to see. Not this year anyway. You are not the only critique of the product and others have noted some of the short comings. Looks like a dodgy batch of cheap plastic has taken its toll.

Man I hate that for you man!! I would be piss!

There may be something happening with Greenlights gluing process. The other day I saw 3 out of 4 packages of the Greenlight Muscle and 2 out of 4 greenlight black bandit series have parts dislodged or "floating" in the blister! A couple of them had windshields that were completely disconnected and floating around in the blister. Poor quality for the latest models I guess.

I got a Chevy truck and the trailer hitch broke it was silver and white

same thing with the barking bad camper

I bought the series 1 truck and flatbed trailer and the trailer wheels would not turn at all

there is a reason why I only have one Green light...quality is utter Blyad in a bag these days...I prefer M2 (mostly for there wider selection of vehicles and "Modular" packaging that can easily be put on a shelf...like books I guess) also...didn't Ertl's cars also have these kind of defects?

Wow that stinks your cars came defective,for the amount of money they cost they should be perfect.

What the $#@! Is wrong with these die cast company's now days?! All my Matchbox cars from the 60's have their Hitches. FOR SHAME. I don't know how many times I picked up a die cast car and heard and saw busted pieces loose screws and miss layed deco's. I guess quality control is out to lunch? I'm sorry but it s not cool
