We’re proud to announce Green Screen as a new feature in the HALO photo booth app! Green screen, sometimes called chroma keying, is a special effect that lets you replace a physically green background with a digital image.
The new Green Screen feature lets you superimpose a branded backdrop for a business or at an event without the expense, time, and logistics of having a custom backdrop printed and shipped. Or you can get creative and have fun using unique photos from far-out places. As you can imagine, the possibilities are endless. With a green screen, you’re able to choose from any digital photo available, or create your own. You can find many free images on websites such as Pexels.com or Pixabay.com, or you can purchase stock photos.

As We can see in this video, your greenscreen is perfectly lit. That means it’s not the light from the booth (the ring light), in this video your background is lit by other lights, I’m thinking studio lights. Can you make a real video, with real light conditions (like when you are in a restaurant with the photo booth, where there is very low light), so we can see how ring really works with greenscreen? And please, be honest with it. Thanks!

Hi Mariam, we're happy you asked! The green screen background we're using in this video did come as part of a kit with some lighting. We set up this lighting while building our green screen feature to compare the results when using studio lights vs. our HALO. We're proud to say that the photos turned out best when using HALO lighting and nothing else!
Hi is there any chance that simple booth can connect to a dslr camera via eye-fi or wifi?

Our apps cannot be integrated with any external cameras...part of our mission to keep things simple!

We do not, but it's easy to create your own or you could find unlicensed images online. Visit help.simplebooth.com/design to learn how to create your own very easily.

This one is a 9.7" iPad Pro. We make HALOs for the 10.5" models as well!

Simple Booth i have The ipad air 1 , when the booth starts in front of the led ring people get very bright, the ipad does not focus on the subject, what should I change? The best is iPad Pro?

Make sure your app is fully up to date! You can see the latest version numbers here: itunes.apple.com/us/developer/simple-booth/id1105479120 Then, tap and hold on the tap to start screen for about two seconds to pull up a few settings including an exposure lock button, which may help!
