I binge watch your channel and am amazed at how gentle you are with deadly snakes like you're handling kittens 😊 you are so polite and patient with the people who call you out to their homes. My heart races everyone you put your hands into spaces where you can't see the snake but you know it's there! You are so humble and have a beautiful family! I love your channel. Stay safe! K.C. 🇺🇸

That snake is the best looking in the world. I saw it once at an itinerary exhibition in the Alps. In the terrarium beside him his black cousin was like crazy and looking pitiful in the cage. He instead was calm and sonehow proud of his own beauty 😜

I had my first call for a coyote that started a den in a seasonal cabin, big guy was a fight but I was able to get him peacefully and release him without a scratch. The longer I do this the more I'm getting proficient, and none of would have happened if not for you. I'm the only non lethal guy within a 3 hour drive in any direction. Kudos for the snakes, I can't wait to start snagging rattlers next season. What you are doing is nothing short of legendary. Much love from Wyoming, USA.

Hey, Jason, another great rescue! (Nice to see Emily along for the ride once more.) You're like the snake superman of Durban! Beautiful snake - reminds me a bit of the several bamboo pit viers I met out whilst hiking in Hong Kong - once, curled up like a beautiful green ribbon/ bow, taut with tension at the vibrations of my footsteps on the covered drainage pipe that it was sunning on. Wearing only sandals, I didn't want to step down into the long grass where God knows what was. So, I backed up, and took a flying leap over it - sweating profusely in fear. The snake & I both survived. 😀 Bamboo pit vipers don't slither away from the vibrations - they stay put - I tested that first. ☺ Happy your subs are increasing. Stay safe, Jason! Cheers, from cold, snowy 🇨🇦.

Hiya Jason, I noticed that Mamba was a deep green and darker than many of the ones I see in captivity here in the USA. I’ve seen one or two that were this dark, and many that were much lighter green, even a few that were VERY light green, white, and an almost blueish tinge. Is that because of locality, Jason? Are they different colors in different regions, or are there just morphs that naturally occur in many places? 🤔🐍🤷‍♂️

Not usually. They are typically a pinkish/purplish colour. The very odd one might have a very dark purplish/black mouth. 👍🏻👍🏻

It is saddening that those 2 "mini-van" taxis don't care about the welfare of other vehicles. Selfish drivers... 😠

Why do the homes look like a fortress? Is crime that bad?

  • @jasonarnold-snakeman

Yes, it's very bad. You have to match or better your neighbors security, otherwise you become an easier target. The criminals look for easier targets. They hop over walls between properties at night and steal bicycles, gate motor batteries, pool pumps, water meters, copper water pipes or anything laying around outside. Or they fish things like wallets, cellphones, laptops or bags, through open windows. Sometimes they even gain entry into the house and steal TV's, computers etc whilst you asleep. And if you wake up and confront them, they'll beat you, stab you or shoot you.

How do you live in places where your kids can't even play in the yard or climb a tree

You handle these snakes so easily, that it doesn’t look dangerous. You are chatting away with the people, while grabbing a snake that is extremely dangerous. It doesn’t look like you get nervous at all.

Why did you remove the snake 🐍 he was not hurting nobody. He is a tree snake. You should not have remove him.

Yes, the snake wasn't hurting anybody, but there are many residents and workers there that would harm it. So for the snakes well-being, it was relocated.
