The color of these snakes is so vibrant. I saw one at a reptile place in Florida USA while I was on a business trip there a few years ago and was impressed with how bright the color was, it had just shed and was absolutely beautiful. Your camera equipment has captured that quite well. Good job!

Great rescue Jason, that must be the most unusual place to find a green mamba. I wonder if she would have survived underneath those bricks. These snakes are a truly amazing colour with different specks of blue or yellow mixed with the dominant vibrant green. Really enjoy your videos Jason, keep up the great content, and hope your channel goes from strength to strength!

Thank you RG 👍🏻 I think the Mamba was just investigating the area looking for food or water and when it saw a human, it just went down the first hole it came across 👍🏻👍🏻 It would probably have spent the night under there and ventured out the following day. They are indeed an amazingly beautiful species 👍🏻 Thank you for your positive comment 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

I considered catching mambas at one point, but had a difficult time finding suitable equipment. I looked for months and finally realized they don't even make 75-150 foot snake tongs. I had opted for 25 ft o(or taller) steel boxes, with locking lids, sloped sides and mounted on a trailer, instead of the lightweight, portable bag seen here. Just preference I suppose. But, the weight of such boxes would prove impractical. So, I abandoned the notion.

I'm surprised that none of them have been bitten on the nose they way they go looking into holes etc. I was recently in Kloof, Durban to sell my Dad's house and was told about the variety of poisonous snakes that had been seen on the property by the tenants.Fortunately I never stood on one whilst I was there. Most impressive how calm all these guys are when dealing with these snakes.
