Damn he tore up that solo just like the original track!! :) I was at the Webster Hall show the night after this, but we weren't treated with this particular gem.
Loving the old school set they played at this show ! So jealous of anybody that got to go.

The very first song that my #1 favorite band wrote!
Huge thanks for recording this! I recognize your username from Irving Plaza 2012 and MSG 2009 videos. You've always been there to record the rare songs, and I really appreciate it! Keep up the great work!

God damnit. I was sitting outside between bands seeing the Descendents in Boston wracking my brain deciding whether or not to drive to NYC and sleep in my car to score tickets to this show. Should’ve fuckin skipped the Descendents!!

Que bello :”)
nice bass sound!
jealous of that crowd!!
First song best song
Old green day is an absolute fuck ton better than new green day imo.
omfg
I thought that at the library was the first song Green Day wrote
If Billie Joe didnt say thats the first song Green Day wrote, probably some new fans would think that is a new song
Wait....is the crowd singing along??
Love this song of theirs. Is there any particular reason they pretty much never played it live?
@juststeveschannel

Billie wrote it when he was fourteen (despite his introduction here where he says this is the first song "Green Day" ever wrote, this goes back to his and Mike's earliest days as "Sweet Children." I don't have any official explanation for why they've never played it much, but I would guess there are very few songwriters who think the first tune they penned at the age of 14 represents their best work. And when you've got so many songs and only so much time on any stage, you are going to want to showcase your best work. But just for giggles, wouldn't it be wild if just one time the band in concert broke out a live version of "Look for Love," the song BJ recorded when he was five years old?
Is it their first song?
