danrunion13 Why would ge regret it? He's always said it was a waste of time. Especially since he wanted to persue music which all together gave him more money that what he would've earned studying and getting a job. (not saying money is more important)

Not Billie, but Mike said in an interview that he wish he didn't stay the extra 6 months to graduate, he said they could have been touring during those months. So I would imagine Billie has the sentiment about his own dropping out.

Politics is exactly what I don't want to hear Green Day or any other celebrity/musician talk about, keep those opinions to yourself whether you are for or against. The place for that is in the ballot box, not the radio where you'll influence a bunch of people who look up to your music/work.

America has been built on freedom of speech and the liberties that it gives. Green Day have always been forceful about how they express their opinions lyrically and with the aggression to back it instrumentally, taking advantage of said freedoms. If people are offended, that means it's working. Creating firestorms is how change is made, that fact being proven time and time again. if you feel that change is needed, start changing it, and that's exactly what GD is doing.
