Ok if I'm not wrong this song "King for a day" was actually performed by the garage rock / ska punk band the Fretless Monkeys. That song was released in 1993.

@LinusKnight well your wrong that band is an actual ska group. I use to listen to that song years ago on here before they took the song down. And along with the youtube channel that gotten deleted. So I know what princess evie is saying. You don't know nothing until YOU listen to that song your self. That is if someone has and re-uploads it again.

Nah, just coincidence. And haha, I assumed I already had, but I guess I hadn't. Trouble with trying to juggle thousands of tracks is that it is hard to organize sometimes. I'm certain I'll get to that one eventually. This year sometime, hopefully.

I love this song not going to lie. But green days version is about a boy who is a cross dresser. While the original version by the fretless monkeys Is a about a 11 year old boy who wants to be a ruler of his neighborhood and making his two friends jealous of him.
