Conures are the only birds I have had. They are BEAUTIFUL AND AMAZING little parrots. I’m like this water idea. I’m building mine a big outdoor aviary and I think I’m going to put a fountain out there for them. They seem to love water. It makes me happy to make them happy.

My mom has two conjures, one green cheek one sun, the green cheek bites hard and the sun is nervous around people. Both of them sat on me to try to play with the birds on screen lol

they probably just like their owner and are smart enough to not fly away. or maybe their wings are clipped

no need to clip their wings but be kind with them ... they will feel your kindness and will not go away ... my green cheeks have escaped many times but never gone very far ... just hang on the trees near my house and come back home every time ... just like human those birds also need to play around

That is the normal colouration of a GCC, it is also called a "wild type". The type you would find in the jungle. The other one is pineapple colouration.

There is no way to tell with GCCs by observation because male and female look and behave identical. The best way to know is to DNA analysis with a feather.
