3 tbsp oil
3 cloves minced garlic
1/2 tsp all purpose seasoning
1/2 tsp black pepper
1 tsp dark soy sauce
Chill flakes for garnishing

I'm that East Texas country girl who cut off both ends..Thanks for sharing your green beans..lol I've been cooking them 7 minutes..🤦🏾♀️.. now I will make them delicious greens for my whole family I'm sure my St.Lucian hubby will luv .💐💐💐😘😘👌🏾
It’s interesting to see how different everyone cooks things. My mom cooks green beans in bacon then adds butter, salt/pepper and crushed red pepper. She’s from the south

I always find it amazing how people have their own cooking styles and all look delicious. My husband is from the south too. I also get amazed by the variation of the names in diff regions ❤️

thats the southern way with some potatoes but I'm trying to stay away from grease so I came here for a new recipe lol
Your cooking method was delightful. I really appreciate that you didn't over cook these lovely vegetables. Fresh green beans taste much better when they are "lightly sautéed" rather than intentionally "over cooked"!!!

hello tak, your cooking of this asian dish was fun to watch. think I snap each long piece in half - ends off is first. it is stir fry but tablespoon of water to steam it out then it's just crisp to eat. elle for soy bean

I always double Chef Lola’s recipe so I can freeze the meat sauce for later use. It turns out just as good
That's usually how I do mine but I will most definitely add the soy sauce for that extra flavor 👌🏿👌🏿👌🏿👌🏿

Since I was a kid of 5 or so, helping Momma in the kitchen, we were taught to clip both ends of the bean. We broke the off w/our hands.
I do both ways but cutting the tips off tend to taste better!
I love green beans. They are so versatile. I make them as a salad. Steam them in the microwave to crisp tender. Drain, add EVOO, red wine vinegar, S&P, oregano Great warm .. even better the next day chilled overnight in fridge. I also make them with sun-dried tomatoes, olive oil, and crushed red pepper.

I used to have to pick the ends off by hand and my mother would be overcome with embarrassment when I accidentally left the ends on any of the ones that were served to guests 😊

I’ve done it both ways. The time I left the tips on the beans tasted kinda tippy, but when I cut them off they tasted like something was missing.
i want to try this but with some tenderstem brocolli 🤤
From when I was a young girl I removed both the ends of my green beans. By the way I'm watching from South Africa 🇿🇦. Love your recipes
