I love how simplistic Pat's calls are. Says the players names, maybe a word or two, then when the play is over sums up the end result. I just love the space between his sentences to let us observe. Just wonderful.

The crowd was so much louder than today

While most people know about shutting down Barry Sanders and Detroit the year before (-4 yards for the game), a lot of people don't realize that Green Bay held Atlanta to 21 yards rushing this game despite Craig "Ironhead" Hayward putting up over 1000 yards in the regular season.

That's the Lambeau Leap (at 8:13) where I caught Levens!! FIRST LEAP FOR ME!!! I'm patting I'm on the back....

I miss this team...we are spoiled having Favre then Rodgers

Good lord. Jeff George had a howitzer for an arm. That throw to Metcalf off his back foot for the first touchdown was absurd.

That throw to Levens at 7:57 was stupid good. Off the back foot like a Jordan fadeaway. 25 yards in the air and he put it between 2 defenders and right on the outside shoulder for a touchdown. That was pretty.

I was a 49ers fan all my but I made sure I seen Brett Favre play and win a Super-bowl he was my second favorite player in the NFL .

Yeah they ran this offense every bit as good as Walsh's 49ers. In a way better because Favre could improvise and make throws no one else could !

Bobby Hebert got the Falcons into the playoffs. But doofus Jones sat him and put the prima donna George back in. Jones deserved to get fired. Shouldn't have been hired to begin with.

Jeff George had as much arm talent as any QB that's ever played the game, Farve included. Too bad his attitude is what kept him from being a hall of famer.

Ah the old "force-out reception" rule, I am so glad it is gone. Toe tap receptions are so much better.
