As well as this error there is also the fact that Cronos did not kill Uranos. You can't kill a god. He, in fact, cut off Uranos' testicles which fell on the earth and from the blood of which sprung all the nasty creatures, like the Furies, the Meliai, Giants and others. The semen fell into the sea, created a huge froth and from that emerged Aphrodite... Gods were immortal. What Uranus did with all his children (which he hated) was to push them back into Gaia's womb... Not a pleasant experience for the womb possessor.

She wrapped a stone in baby's swaddles and gave that to him to eat, which he did. Then when Cronos grew up a bit, she gave him a sickle and hid him behind a rock. When Uranus came for his nookie, Cronos bounced out from the rock and chopped off his doodah... etc, etc, etc. (Wonderfully told by Stephen Fry) So now you know how the sickle was first used. Interesting actually, considering the use of the tool for harvesting!

By bringing in the Iron Age with automobiles it seems almost as though as if, this is a modern story not an ancient one.
