I know i’m late but i think the sorority girl stereotype is very applicable at SOME schools. I live in Florida and a good 75% of the girls i know in sororities at my school or others schools fit into the stereotype very well. Obviously it depends on the sorority or state and the behavior is taught/expected in some cases but regardless i think the stereotype exists for valid reasons. I’m not in a frat BTW but most of my friends live in the biggest frat house in the US if anyone wants to put two and two together. I agree that greek life should be abolished, very classist/elitist vibe and ultimately creates an echo chamber for the people inside of it.
