A really funny thing in the Iliad. The gods have chosen sides in the war between the Ithaca and the Troy, they start fighting, and Hades is just chilling in the underworld; seriously wishing they'd shut up, and hoping the roof won't cave in.

The most famous Greek deities must be: Zeus: king of the gods. God of the sky, storms and lighting. Hera: Queen of the gods. Goddess of wrath and marriage. Poseidon: God of the sea, horses and earthquakes. Hades: God of the underworld and death. Apollo: God of the Sun, archery medicine and music. Artemis: Goddess of the moon, hunting and archery. Hephaestus: God of forges,fire and blacksmithing. Athena: Goddess of wisdom. Ares: God of war. Aphrodite: Goddess of love and beauty. Dionysus:God of Wine and revelry. Demeter: Goddess of agriculture. And those are only the more famous ones. This list would go beyond typing limit if I were to name them all, including the minor gods

Angels and Demons Terminator Avatar Black Sun Siege The Crusades V For Vendetta Monsters, but with a human faction, so who's on that side could be Van Helsing Now, I've actually got some more ideas, like a crossover video, Noob vs Pro vs Hacker Map Wars, or you could do the American civil war. Like if you agree with any of these ideas so they can be seen.

A guide to the main Ancient Greek deities The deities I am describing here will not include Titans like Kronos or primordial gods like Gaia and Ouranos. This is just the 12 Olympians + Hestia and Hades. •Zeus. Zeus is the king of the gods and the youngest son of Kronos. He is the god of thunder, lightning and storms. The animal most often associated with him is an eagle. His weapons are lightning bolts. Under the Romans, he was referred to as Jupiter and more warlike. •Poseidon is the middle son of Kronos, and the brother of Zeus. He dwells in his undersea palace rather than on Olympus, like most other gods, but he does have a throne there. He’s the god of the sea, earthquakes and most things associated with the sea. His sacred animals are the horse, the bull and the dolphin. His weapon is a trident. The Romans distrusted the sea and so didn’t worship Poseidon so much. He was called Neptune. •Hades is the eldest son of Kronos and the god of the underworld. He is not an Olympian and rules over the underworld, known as Erebus or Hades. He’s the god of death and the underworld. Hades is rare among gods as he does not have a prominent animal often associated with him. He doesn’t have a weapon either, but a helmet which makes him invisible and radiates fear. The Romans called Hades Pluto and made him the god of wealth as well. Those were the main three gods, the most famous. Now we’re on to the three other children of Kronos: Hera, Demeter and Hestia. It’s disputed which is older, so I’ll ignore this for now. •Hera is the queen of the gods and the goddess of marriage and sometimes childbirth. She is married to Zeus, who has numerous affairs with other deities, nymphs and humans. She is known for having a very hot temper, despite not fighting and she is often associated with peacocks and oxen. The Ancient Greeks often described her as having eyes like an ox. The Romans knew her as Juno, and she was more motherly. •Demeter is the goddess of farming, food, grain and wheat. She is often associated with serpents and geckos and she has no real weapon. The Romans called her Ceres. •Hestia is the final offspring of Kronos on this list and she isn’t technically an Olympian. When Dionysus, the god of wine, arrived, she gave up her seat for him. She’s the goddess of home and the fireplace. Her sacred animal is supposed to be a pig, because she used pig fat to keep the fire going. The Romans called her Vesta. Now onto various offspring of those six deities I explained earlier. •Aphrodite is the first on this list because she is a bit of an oddity. She technically came from Ouranos’ dismembered body mixing with seawater. She is actually the oldest of the gods. She’s the goddess of love and beauty, and whilst married to Hephaestus, she has many affairs with Ares. Her sacred animal is a dove. The Romans hardly changed Aphrodite, they just called her Venus. •Speaking of Ares, he is next on the list. Ares is the god of brutal war, violence and single-minded killing. He’s not often depicted as very intelligent either. He’s one of the few children that actually come from the wedding of Hera and Zeus, and Hera is known to have a rare soft spot for him. He’s associated with boars, and usually wields a spear or a sword. The Romans thought Ares was cleverer than this and called him Mars. He was the defender of Rome. •Hephaestus is the crippled god of blacksmiths and forgery (not fraud, of course). He is known as the most ugly god because Hera or Zeus hurled him off Olympus at birth. They were both his parents. He made his way back up and became one of the twelve Olympians. His sacred animals are the donkey, the guard dog and the crane. He’s one of the most intelligent gods. He’s more or less the same to the Romans, but he was called Vulcan and had more of an association with volcanos, hence the name. •Onto the subject of intelligent gods, Athena is the goddess of wisdom, strategic warfare and useful crafts. She is the daughter of Zeus and Metis and actually burst from her father’s head. She is usually an opponent of Ares. She always wears full battle armour over a peplos (a type of sleeveless dress). Her sacred animals are the owl, symbolising wisdom from the heavens, and the snake, symbolising wisdom from the Earth. The Romans knew her as Minerva, who had no association with warfare at all. This was quite an insult to the Greeks. •Hermes is another clever god, but he’s not genius-level like Athena is. He’s the god of most things that exist, but here are a few of them: •Merchants •Travellers •Shepherds •Trickery and mischief •Predicting the future with dice His sacred animal is the tortoise. Under the Romans, he was Mercury who was harsher and stricter. •Dionysus is the youngest god and the god of wine, theatre, parties and drunkenness. He took Hestia’s place as an Olympian, and he was originally a demigod. He was the son of Zeus and a human. His sacred animals are dolphins, donkeys, tigers and serpents. The Romans called him Bacchus. We’re now onto the twin siblings, Artemis and Apollo. It’s most likely Artemis is the oldest of the two. They’re both children of Zeus. •Artemis is the goddess of the moon, hunting, young girls and virginity. She is one of the three maiden goddesses, the others being Hestia and Athena. She saw what happened to her mother and decided she wanted no part in romance. She and her brother are also deities of archery. Her sacred animals are deer and sometimes wolves. The Romans decided to call her Diana and make her more strict, like they did with most deities. •Apollo is the god of the sun, as opposed to Artemis. He’s also the god of music and poetry. He is sometimes depicted as having an over-inflated ego. His sacred animals include deer, hawks, swans, crows, foxes, wolves, etc. The Romans still called him Apollo. Those are all the major deities. Two of my favorite God's from Greek mythology is Tai Chi the goddess of luck and Dionysus the god of wine and parties

I love that you guys went back to the traditional map wars style whilst using aspects from the newer style. In college we had had history course over different Mythologies with Greek being one.. As for the Gods.... Kratos wasn't the God of War... Ares is. Kratos wasn't even a Major God, but a Minor God who had the personification of strength. The other 3 were correct except for Hades having fire? Unless Cannibal was referencing Disney's Hades, the Greek God Hades didn't use fire. He was the God of the Underworld, riches, and death. Also I'm 99.99% sure grenades were not used, lmao. Regardless it was still fun, energetic, and a good map wars. It would be cool to see some Role-playing done with Greek Mythology. You guys dabbled with the mythology in Season 2 of Scramblecraft, would be nice to see something more from it and this map wars. Not because Greek Mythology is my favorite mythology or anything 👀👀

Since Pluto's, from the Roman Mythology, was renamed after Hades and Hades was known to have various riches, saying he was the God of such was a bit out there. One could argue that from the Greek Mythology Hades, God of the Underworld, and Plutus, the God of wealth, were both formed into one deity. That being the Roman version Plutos. Who was both the God of wealth/riches and the Underworld.
