I never understood how the government let China buy our biggest pork producer AND additional farm land. It boggles my mind how the "environmentalists" don't realize how detrimental factory farms are to the environment. Factory farms produce less per acre than smaller farms and smaller farms have better soil quality-in other words more nutrients in the food they produce. Gates is pushing factory farms that make fake meat sludge, which is loaded with additives. Thats the crap that Gates is pushing.

We buy most of our goods from China and food from other countries . China is a very smart business oriented country with super smart leaders compared to what we have here as 'leaders' . They control our economy so it's not surprising they want a chunk of our land.

For those considering buying farmland, or even just planting a garden in your yard, buy and plant only heirloom seeds. This way you not only produce food to eat, but also continue to produce seed to plant for future gardens and seed to share with others.

For those that don’t understand. Most seeds commercially available prevent you from re planting so you have to get new seeds.

@@worlore1651 Yes. We have Burpee and Bayher to thank for that. They call them "terminator seeds" because they'll only produce one genetically modified crop so that you have to buy seed from them each year.

No other sovereign nation is allowing this kind of land grab. Maybe they need an anti trust lawsuit? There has to be something done to procure our freedoms.

Gates needs to have the land confiscated or forced to sell and allow the land to be used for what it is intended.🇺🇸

Food security is National Security, no few people nor any foreign entity should own the land that feeds us all.

Every kid in this country should learn how to grow potatoes before they're in third grade. It's fun, it's easy and it builds a sense of self-reliance.

Its so much more nefarious than greed.

Buying land that's not even their's! Shameful how hard they work to keep ppl down...

The states need to pass and implement protectionist laws and policies against corporate and billionaire greed/policies .

China is smart... They care more about society and their communities than CAPITAL gains. Most countries disagree with the moral implications of capitalism, but must utilize it to compete with capitalists.
