Great video. We went to the Mediterranean on a cruise and visited Athens and 3 Islands. We want to go back, and just visit Greece, and this answers how to get between islands. This was a great video to start planning my trip to Greece.

Also I discovered after doing some research is there are two different types of ferries: slow and fast. So if you’re on a time crunch the fast ferry is the best.

And i have some questions. - printing the ferry tickets. Do they just do that at the hotel it you ask? - the catamaran price you mentiones is that including dinner (the lobster pasta 😍)? Or is dinner seperate? - how long do you recommend staying in Milos?

Great idea to only do 2-3 islands. It bet the travel days can take a while. Would you do the same islands again? I have been all around Greece except for the islands

I am traveling to Greece in the next two weeks but unfortunately i am a pretty bummed as the weather in April is pretty cool.😢so coats and heavy clothes for us. 😣 We are going with friends and didn’t do enough research for ourselves but looking forward to island hoping.

The weather starts to be not so great and the islands are mostly closed as the season ends around the end of October.

Mykonos is definitely more party, and Paros has some parties in the square in the town of Naussa and these islands are just a short ferry away!

@@DanaBerez Dubrovnik, Split (Both 'Game of Thrones' filming spots) choose one or both depending on time....then choose between islands Hvar, Korcula. Take a bus from Korcula old town (which is called mimi-Dubrovik) to Vela Luka and a 15 min boat trip to the island of Proizd), Vis (Momma Mia location)....some other smaller coastal cities are Zadar, Togir and Omis.... To me, Split (Diocletian's Palace) is a must since there are ferries to several of the islands...Dubrovnik is next (walk the city walls)....I'm sure you'll do enough research to figure out which places are good fits for you!... Definitely consider chartering a small yacht (with meals) since there are so many small uninhabited islands and coves to choose from....I know you and your companion like wine, seafood, ice cream, so you'll be completely satisfied there (lots of Italian food there too - great pizza!). Prices are good especially compared to Amalfi (and you won't find crazy crowds of tourists (except for Dubrovnik) The waters are crystal clear like in Greece, but you'll see lots more greenery... (June and September are ideal, but if you really want the warmest water, go in July or August (a few extra tourists)...Make sure you arrange at least one Peka dish (a day in advance) at a good restaurant. Your airbnb host or hotel can do that. It's usually lamb but you may have other choices...

Completely forgot!.....You must visit a place called Plitvice Park....can drive from Split (3 hrs) or Zadar (2 hrs)....get there early when they open and plan to spend the whole day (there are small hotels and airbnb's within a walkable distance if you decide to spend the previous night there, so you'll be there, well rested, first thing in the morning).....you'll never forget it!...search all these places on youtube and google.

do you recommend staying at airbnbs instead of hotels im going to Greece for my birthday and I was going to get air bnb in Mykonos and just take day trips to Milos and Santorini from there what do you think? btw this video was sooo helpful

airbnbs are usually cheaper especialy in mykonos.

What month were you there? End of May correct? I saw a comment about September and it confused me. Planning my trip for mid May 2023

I visited Santorini, Milos, Paros, and Mykonos! they were all awesome for different reasons!

Theres 1000s of islands in greece been to mykonos 20 times ..but they priced themselves outta orbit...still fun but really not worth it

Do you loved sailing across the islands ??

Yeah not a bad effort but should have been 4 times longer to really get into a Greek trip

Next time try mainland Greece. Trust me, it's better.
