Pakistan was a real Dynamite in those days!! India used to loose most matches against them through the 1980s and 90s . Winning a match and that too scoring centuries was no easy feat for the Indians. Even in those terrible times our heros played valiantly, not giving in easily. Comparatively today's Virat Kohlis are like playing against school boys of Pakistan!! Sachin will always remain the 'God of Cricket'

Honestly speaking. Rewatching all these matches from that era. I can honestly say most of the bowlers of that era were mediocre. Only a handful bowlers were absolute monsters. And I honestly believe Virat would have owned this era as well.

You can't really compare eras.Its not VK's mistake that many opposition teams are weak these days,we became more powerful as a board with both Infra and resources.Moreover if you argue that players score more because pitches are easy these days,you also need to agree the fact that bowlers looked terrifiying those days because pitches were tough.

Yes the bowling is much much better today. Bowling 4 no balls in 1 over😂😂😂😂😂😂😂. Bowling slow wide short in death overs? No strategy at all, no discipline. Those who used a little bit of common sense became legends in those times.
