To the people saying it should have been easy remember your sitting on your phone and he played in one of the biggest tournaments in the world
It’s absolutely insane how crucial this point was. 3rd set. Kokkinakis won the first 2 comfortably. He was 2-0 up in the 3rd set. Looking like it was gonna be an easy win. This was a break point. Murray wins the point. 2-1 in the 3rd… he then wins the set. Wins the 4th set and wins the final set after 5 hours. Insane. Heart of a Lion.

@jadenw-d5562

@@ImHim200 This one was. Usually they play 3 sets. At most it can last 3 hours. Once every 10 years you’ll get a 4 hour 3 setter which is insane (most notably Alcaraz vs Djokovic at Cincinnati last year) but at Grand Slams you play 5 sets. Average match is over 2-3 hours. And if they go all 5 sets it can be 4-5 hours or even longer. They changed the rules recently so that the final set has an end point. Because over 10 years ago a match at Wimbledon went 11 hours 💀💀

I love the reaction at the end 😂
I couldn’t be proud of myself when making those sounds on live television and a live audience😂
My favourite part is when the bloke slammed his racket on the court in disbelief.

Me too! This is the one time I don’t blame a player for smashing in frustration 😂. It put a nice ! on the whole grand volley!

What this clip doesn't show is how immediately before this the ref did something completely stupid and disrupted Kokkinakis while he was about to serve for the match. It allowed Murray back into the match and the stronger player mentally won. I feel bad for kokk

@@Jordan-fg9cc dude thank you for saying this. People clearly didn't watch the match. The umpire totally ruined this game for Kokkinakis in my opinion. Thanasi was due to win in straight sets. If I was Kokkinakis in that situation I would've done the same to be honest.
Considering what hes gone through the last few years, what an absolute beast
Oh Andy, you are just amazing!
Andy is like a scampering squirrel there for a bit but turns around to call for applause from the crowd. Much respect to both.

What an absolute joy to watch this. THIS is what sport of excellence looks like. Brilliant 👏 👏
that racket smash had the fury of million years
Excellent play by both players especially Murray. His defense was incredible. Somebody had to win the point and luckily Andy did . It's a shame injuries kept him out for a few years as he would have won more tournaments including Grand Slams. His returned to tennis but ain't the player he once was and at his age 37 it's too late now .
Wow.. extraordinary tennis by Murray 👍
Sir Murray, take a bow

@@jjrc7424 Help me understand. Please take your time and read this and reply to me in true spirit. Humour me. I still cannot accept the fact that British people don't understand what they have done to so many cultures. I would very much appreciate if they did something better that the previous dynasties. However the Brits spiralled the world into industrialisation and commercialization of produce. This has affected the lifestyle of the world, sickening the mind and body.

I did not expect the comment to spiral down into such a controversy 😊 Yes I am non British, an Indian to be precise and No I did not know this specific custom. Thanks for correcting! Although sometimes, it's far better to just take ignore it and just let that be
Amazing!!! Never give up 🎉
