That split second decision making in every move he makes. That he knows perfectly the spot where to put the ball when dribbling that his defender wont be able to reach is just pure GREATNESS.

I was a 6'2 point guard in high school. Even when guarded by smaller guys I could almost always blow by my defender and get to the rim. Finishing over the bigger guys inside was very difficult and I couldn't do it that well . . Kyrie is so, so, so good at the finishes it's mind blowing. Curry is the only other one I can think of who is close, but Kyrie 1st by a long shot. Of course D-Rose or some of those guys were great at finishing too, but it's because they could jump so high, not because they had the ball control that Irving or Curry do.

Consequently, I observed every game of MJ's career right from the start. Additionally, I also closely followed the careers of LeBron James and Kyrie Irving. I made this observation early on, even before others, during Irving's third season following his victory in the All-Star game. By the end of that season, I recognized Irving's exceptional talent and his ability to accomplish feats that no one else could. He has the best left handle in the whole NBA.

Not hating, but I simply don't understand this. I guess I'm an old timer (66) and still tryin' to get used to the Euro step, and I didn't watch more than a couple of minutes of this, but at 2:23 he takes a dribble with his left foot on the 3-point line and then proceeds to take 3 steps, R-L-R without another dribble and shoots a reverse layup. He makes it all the way from the 3-point line to the opposite side of the basket without a dribble. I don't understand how this isn't a travel? What IS the rule? Is traveling EVER called anymore? It makes it hard for me to enjoy the skill of these guys because it just feels to me like the guy with the ball can pretty much do whatever he wants without any concern for getting called for traveling OR carrying the ball. I don't remember the last time I saw a call for carrying. No doubt this puts me in "codger" territory. But it makes it hard for me to say someone like Kyrie or anyone in the modern game can be called the greatest ball handler, when someone like Maravich for example didn't have NEAR the latitude for what you could do with the ball or your feet. Just a nickel.
