IMO some of you are wrong.... Its product placement and thus 'free marketing' for Apple or whoever the company is that wants to give him free stuff... Now Apple can run an ad campaign that costs them *MILLIONS* we're talking about getting their products advertised on right across all spectrums of the media including billboard advertisements.. It costs *Millions* to run an ad campaign, but if giving away something thats worth $800 and even if half of the 3million people watch the video - thats still a successful ad campaign because by giving away $800 they have gotten into the homes of upto 3million people and thats saved them a huge chunk of money on marketing. They'll probably let him keep the phone as well otherwise why would he advertise for Apple if they werent going to give him something back in return? If he had less than 1million subs i dont think Apple would even bother replying to his emails or calls requesting that they send him out a $800 *TO REVIEW* let alone to keep. $800 is but a drop in the ocean for big companies such as Apple.

Re the Boosted Board controller: Casey has done more for that company with publicity just through using them & talking about them than any number of expensive ads could. The controller isn't costing anything for the company. Just the guy's time & even then they're getting even more positive publicity seen by every viewer ✔

The price at $1000.00 for the cheapest one still seems pretty high and would likely come down if they ever were able to produce them with any volume. The most expensive thing on the board is the battery probably. Being permanently out of stock is extremely odd; I wouldn't spend a dime buying something from a company like that(if you could haha). I mean are they even gonna stay in business? It's just strange.

I stumbled onto his channel when looking up drone reviews. He is a quirky guy and pulls you in with his charm as well as his ability to edit a film and tell a story about innocuous mundane every day things. I have found myself watching blog after blog of Casey's, But after watching many of his videos I do see how he tries to act like he is the common man and does not ask for anything to be sent to him,but in reality he is a multi millionaire. I would say he deserves what he has he is a hard worker and a talented individual. In the end he is the only one I have ever felt compelled to follow on KZread, I guess that in itself speaks volumes for the man. Congrats Casey and continued success.

He's rarely in that part of Manhattan but yes, the Highline is just an amazing place to chill and wander. He definitely could only walk there (no boards - boosted or otherwise) because the pathways are a little narrow and there are lots of people about. But a drone shot of it would probably be mind blowing!
