By the way, my mother received the baptism of the Holy Spirit at Solomon's Temple in Detroit, MI. 1980 under the leadership of apostle William L. Bonner, so even though I am not CooLJC, I have early roots there 0-6 or 7 years old, then THE HEAVENLY FATHER had another plan for us, and how we were to be raised in order for me to reach the people HE is sending me to concerning HIS Son. I know Bishop Bonner is getting up there in age, I want to get the opportunity to meet him pray for that, peace!

I also furthermore believe that as Pentecostal experiencers we still need to go revisit all the scriptures we need to about The Blood of Jesus so that we can stop telling people when or if they are or not saved (Romans 10:6-7) and I was really into doing that basically almost got kicked out of college for it. My point is that if we have a revelation of His Blood then this is the door open to the grace of GOD given unto us because of HIS Son, and we can share that!

did you know some that we call trinitarians pentecostals actually baptize in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ. c we apostolic got to get it together and show some love, etc.

Learn your history. in the united states, when azusa street happened, they all reeived the same word, but, has slightly different interpretations. while i believe we apostolics got much of it right, we are in error in other ways when it comes to interpreting and living by the word. none the less, god's grace is sufficient for us and other holy ghost filled people. ask Bishop Clark if you need a history lesson

@Apostolic4lyfee, "The Waterway" was composed by Bishop G.T. Haywood, not Bishop S.C. Johnson. The original lyrics are "buried in His precious name". I know my family that used to go to the church on Apostolic Square sung it 'baptized in Jesus' name". No one flinches; I've heard it both ways.

Amen yes the original does say baptized on Jesus name, I've seen in another hymn book that also says duties. I think others started to song it so they said buried as not to seem apostolic. Lol and any apostolic church that got the book that had the edited version only learnd it that way and sing it out of habit..though they hear others saying baptized they just say buried...

u know, we apostolic people are so quick to discount somebody's elses belief. it's common knowledge that in the united states when the azusa street outpouring happened, mason and many of our church patriarchs/matriarchs were presen or came on the scene shortly after the azusa stree experience of the outpouring of the holy ghost.t. the one thing we and trinitarians have in common is the receiving of the holy ghost.

I come in peace, but I want to share something with you. 2 Samuel 22:27-With the pure thou wilt shew thyself pure; and with the froward thou wilt shew thyself unsavoury. I say this for a few reasons. #1-As of yet your approach to what "baptism" means, *partially lays the argument of Romans 6:3-4 in the balance. If "water baptism" puts you in "Jesus name" and that is how one is raised up from the dead then explain (Acts 8:12-17) why is there the need for the Holy Spirit Baptism after water?

I don't know you but I do believe you love Jesus, and *He said this: John 14:23-Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him. I am not sure what you plan to say in response to what I presented or if you will respond at all, but I do hope that you consider what I presented to you and you at least embrace James 3:13-18.

I as an outsider to both denominations but not to Christ, yet if I don't even agree with everything COGIC, or COOLJC teaches and I have scripture upon scripture, line upon line, precept upon precept *after studying years of "Hebrew Aramaic, and New Testament Greek definition after definition" yet by HIS grace I was allowed to see *my disagreement with other saints *knowing they are-or-were doctrinally wrong, did *not free me from the commandments of Jesus Christ to love them = John 13:34-35.

MANUAIM no one has it all perfectly dotting every I and crossing every t..point is...do you believe in one lord one faith and one baptism?...do you believe in repenting and the water baptism in Jesus name ..and being filled with the Holy Ghost with the evidence of speaking in tongues? People get so caught up on tradition, doctrine,politics,religion...Just give me the word..Help me get to Jesus..Help me get saved before it's to late...thats what the world is crying out for..smh its truely sad...and yes i am from COOLJC I'm 23 and no we aren't perfect but, we are striving..and at the core of our belief you can't go wrong..because, Holiness is right...the Holy Ghost is Key 🔑

First no men taught me the bible Jesus taught me no men in to saying that people only get half of the word Of God and just run and get ordain by men and not God and believe everything they are taught understood of fasting , praying and mediate on the word themselves , it cause them to ERROR you must do what Jesus says to do , PROVERBS CH 3 V5 TRUST IN THE LORD WITH ALL THINE HEART. AND LEAN NOT UNTO THINE OWN UNDERSTANDING.

This is why I said your approach to Romans 6:3-4 is not balanced *enough (and I am not saying this in a spirit of accusation) but for you to embrace the grace of GOD concerning us knowing and seeing in part *even with the Baptism of the Holy Spirit, even with the KJV, even in and with the English, Latin, Hebrew Aramaic and Greek languages, it's still all in part and 1Cor.13:12 should give us the grace to embrace sowing peace with other believers as we consider ourselves.

So if you do a little historical research (be careful, and be led by the Holy Spirit) you will see the fact that the letter "J" didn't even exist in the 1611 King James Version of the Holy Bible, and we know Jesus was indeed a Israelite, so He spoke Hebrew (Acts 26:14) now if the letter "J" did not exist then what "Hebrew Aramaic" name was the apostles using in Acts when they were water baptizing believers, because it wasn't the spelled name "Jesus"?

You mentioned earlier how COGIC doesn't have it right (and I am not COGIC) but the core of their denominational name is accurate. Church of GOD *IN Christ = GOD was IN Christ reconciling the world back unto HIMSELF (2Cor.5:19). COOLJC by name has it right.... (Matthew 16:18), Upon this rock I will build *My church i.e. Church of our Lord Jesus Christ {of the apostolic faith} i.e."built upon the foundation of the apostles"=Ephesians 2:20. Let me explain something else in the next part....

MANUAIM originally Bishop Mason was not only baptized in Jesus name but he baptized hundreds in Jesus name . I don't know when they changed but he was originally one God Jesus name holiness

I say this in no insubordination to your elders or my elders, but we all = "the entire body of Christ" has to make sure that we're not using our interpretations as a license to say other believers are not saved (Romans 10:6-7). I warn you in love, be as hardcore as you want to but you should remember that if you are "forward with others, *HE will (as an absolute promise), *HE will be forward with you [2 Samuel 22:27]. Which is why warned you with "Acts 26:14" concerning the "Name".

your facts are incorrect. an it has nothing to do with bishop Mason being approved to ordain by the u.s. gov. since when is salvation predicated on government sanction.

i remember the word saying that he that hath not the spirit of God is none of his. why would the Lord out pour his spirit on the cogic (a pentecostal church) and the other pentecostal churches of the apostolic an trinity persuasion and not raise them when he returns. we apostolics need to stop being dogmatic and live peaceably with all men.

So were the apostles and the rest of the early church in Acts saved (Romans 10:6-7) seeing they *absolutely weren't using "J" while baptizing but using a "Y", and no way am I trying to "blaspheme" the spelled name "Jesus", I was water baptized "Acts 2:38", and received the Holy Spirit Acts 19:6 believing GOD raised *Jesus from the dead. Therefore *whoever is saying to not say "Jesus" name during water baptism is not-salvific, they're excluding the entire early church!
