Great White Shark has seal for breakfast off the tip of Monomoy 8/22/12

A great white shark (Carcharodon carcharias) feeds on a grey seal off the south tip of Monomoy Island, Chatham, MA on August 22, 2012.     I agree with you and no problem. I used to go to the Cape, get on a raft and my father had to come get me! Many years and never saw a shark. I know it's different with the seals now but you are 100% correct. Everything has its place and the eco system needs the sharks. I have a friend who cried when she saw the sharks in a aquarium. She felt bad for them, I swear. We need people who think more like you. ;) Have a great night

    Fascinating to see the Great White up close feeding, many thanks for the video. It puzzles me that there are dislikes for this clip...Is it that people dislike you filming nature, or do these people think that the shark is being cruel in its feeding habits? Perhaps these people would prefer the shark to change its diet and behaviour? Thanks again Keith

    Peter Benchley wrote the book, Spielberg made an amazing movie out of it and ignorant people decided to declare war on an animal that rarely actually attack and kill humans. We're destroying their ocean, they aren't the real threat.

    Iknow all that. I am on your side. They are amazng creatures. Joking. I know sharks are being killed and it meeses up the eco system.
