Wow! I haven't heard _too_ much hype around it, but now that I'm starting to see more recent footage, I think it could very well be one of the better CCIs.

I rode this back in 2004 and it was a decent woodie and a lot of fun! I need to get back there this year and ride it again though because that was the only time I ever rode it. Awesome pov!

CoasterFanatics thanks Patrick for some of the lesser known Woodies ,I think there some of the best just because you can ride all day with hardly any lines like shivering timbers ,a great ride with almost no wait during the week days ,like we've talk about Kings Island what do you see in a satalite veiw right next to the Beast right behind the 2 turn around for the Racer, the old Days of Thunder station, maybe for a big RMC from the ground up ,I've noticed a tree line down in that area ,I still would rather see an RMC new built than a giga , it would be nice to have Kings Island as the wooden Coaster capital of the world , to me , that makes better sense than a giga ,the more I rode mystic timbers thru out the summer the more I liked it and the less we ,my wife and I missed SOB ,what do you think about an ground up RMC 50 birthday gift ,maybe steel vengance is a sample run , we know SOB was looked at for a rebuild ,so maybe a Resurrection of SOB , Zombie Beast , Reancarnated Beast , what do you think?????? A massive RMC at Kings would hurt bisness wise every Woody in mid USA ,lighting rod , Voyage, and would not hurt steel vengance at CEDAR POINT point

I 100% agree. I would love to see a badass ground up topper track RMC at kings Island. It would fit right in at this park.

Robert Swickard I like ur idea. If Son of Beast Was to return And they brought back the company that was helping but PARAMOUNT Decided to drop them because of A) the wood and B) they Kept Finding flaws Thar would be Amazing. Also good news, We are the Wooden Roller coaster Of the world because of Mystic and it's Length. ALSO For the 50th I think Kings Island should Bring back old park maps,Let the RACER have a side go backwards again,and rename rides to there original name(The Bat-Flight Deck;Top gun is with PARAMOUNT but they should at least have the classic names). Kings Island said they also won't RMC The Beast but if they built One in The former site of Dinos then it can be called The return of the Son of Beast or something. They could also put the new ride in Xbase or something. A Giga or RMC I can't wait to see the future of my Home park!!!

CoasterFanatics if you look at a satalite shot of the area right along the Beast and behind the Racer's reverse turns, use the old Days of Thunder simulator ride building as the loading station , a massive terrain RMC would fit right in . There is a video at xscream coasters that is of a big RMC terrain that almost looks like it was designed - by chance- for that area ,there is even a helix type figure 8 that would go right through dino- alive .I conversed with the guy that did the video I called it ( Dino-Beast) so keep an eye out for it , Patrick ,that makes more sense to me than a giga ,make Kings Island the WOODEN coaster capital of the world again !!!!!!!!! Respond sur if you'd like .

I agree!

One other interesting thing about Great White is it's a hybrid coaster. It has steel supports but wooden tracks obviously so it still rides like a wooden coaster. Something you don't see too often these days. I too enjoy this ride, it's stayed smooth over the years and it's by far the best out of the 3 at Wildwood. Good for the family to ride too.

sorry to hear that. Florida has a few good wood coasters. None on the beach that I'm aware of though.

It would be awesome if they built that proposed GCI here, that would give them a fantastic 1-2.

I rode it in 2015 and I found it fun, but unexpectedly rough. I was a bit disappointed. My general experience is that if you ride a wooden coaster at the beginning of the season, it's more often smoother than at the end of the season. I vow to ride it earlier next time.

There’s 3 piers that make up moreys this is the southern most pier consists up mostly upcharge attractions now

Cedar Point are y'all watching? Great idea for a flyer on their beach & with the Sandcastle suites being torn down for possible 2020 expansion for their 150th anniversary...i know i know highly unlikely but i have my rct for lol

I will be completely honest here in my experience, I got surprised coming off of this ride thinking how unbearably rough this ride was. It felt like being tortured in a dungeon, and the sand got in my eyes which was really annoying, and the only thing I liked about this ride was how its right by the beach. However this gave me a serious headache, I'm not that much of a person who likes CCI's to be blunt.

@ThatMikeDude no, it has the newer style individual lap bars that PTC started using in the late 90s along with seat belts. You can still get some good airtime on this coaster though, just loosen your seat belt a bit when you're going up the lift hill lol helps it out!

thank you, I try to reply to all comments. I'm a country guy so I'm a big Zac Brown Band fan. As far as rock goes I really liked Creed, Areosmith, and Nickleback growing up. Even some Metallica as well.

The only wooden coasters with drive tires that I know are the ones made by Intamin or RMC (at least if you count those as wooden coasters) :D

I would personally replace the comma with a colon in the title. It would flow a little better.
