They might be favourites with the bookmakers but certainly not the real favourites. The French camp just looks and feels different. More togetherness if you will, a real sense of camaderie. If everything goes to plan France and England should meet in the semis and that will be an epic match.

I dont like that they get an audience whilst training. It’s like in Rocky 3 when Rocky made an exhibition out of his training session- getting pics with fans while bands played etc… meanwhile, Clubber Lang (Mr T) was training and sweating hard in the gym. Rocky lost the fight cuz he didn’t take his training seriously and felt too confident. He did get a wake up call from the loss and went on to win-which is what I hope England have got after the Iceland game

What’s happening here is that Southgate’s coaching staffs are lacking ideas and it seems like the players are demoted from a high level of training to a low grade level under Southgate technical staffs 😢

This really seems to be a factual statement but it’s just one training session open to the public. I would hope they have more intense and tactical closed sessions. The coaching staff at France do seem to be more ‘ high level’ but then it’s basically the same staff that won the 2018 World Cup and went to the 2022 WC Final.
