Icônicos! Tive o privilégio de voar num da Varig.

I was 16 years old and poor and worked in a large printing company in my city of Londrina Brazil and saved a little money every month to travel by plane at the end of the year. Commercial Aviation has always been my passion and I remember flying on the Boeing 727 from Transbrasil on the Boeing 737-500 from Rio Sul and on the Fokker 27 and 100 from Tam

Voce fala Ingles perfeitamente, porque nao ficou um piloto ou alguma coisa em aviacao? Eu sou Brasileiro minha familia imigrou para USA em 1961 quando eu tinha 12 anos, agora tenho 75 e moro em Chicago. Eu tambem gosto de aviacao e trabalhei com Rockwell International e BOEING, voei muitas vezes para o Brasil pela VARIG, meu primeiro voo era de Congonhas num Constellation da VARIG. Um abraco forte para voce de Chicago KORD, boa sorte na sua vida e o melhor para voce, and continue speaking English, you are really good at it, good luck!

Back when there were so many 737s of the classic series flying around where now we have regional jets!

I flew in that VASP MD-11 around this time, from São Paulo to Buenos Aires 1st Class. Unforgettable!

Some U.S. airlines used to fly to Sao Paulo-Congohas back in the day and they're now flying to Sao Paulo-Guaruhos.

I think they flew to Sao Paulo Viracopos before, Congonhas' runway is just too short for wide bodies
