Great Muslims in History | Abul A'la al-Mawdudi
Dr. Muhammad Musa Al-Shareef was born in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, and graduated from the Faculty of Shari`ah, Imam Muhammad ibn Saud Islamic University, in 1408 A.H. He obtained his M.A. and Ph.D. in the Qur'an and the Sunnah from Faculty of Usul Ad-Din (Theology) -- Umm Al-Qura University. He is an assistant professor in the Department of Islamic Studies, King Abdul Aziz University.
One of the important factors in the development and behaviors of the societies of the world today is the impact of role models. Now, more than ever, role models are affecting the lives of all races and classes of people around the world. Because of mediums such as television, radio, telephone and the internet, many role models, such as movie stars, athletes, musicians and politicians, have become quite popular around the world.
However, such role models do not necessarily represent the ideal style of life, practices and beliefs that are wanted for the Muslim. When Muslims look up to sinful or disbelieving people who have been portrayed in the media to be successful and famous, they began to feel inferior to them. Satan may even deceive them into feeling that the reason for the non-Muslims' worldly success is their following of ways other than Islam.
Musa al-Shareef presents the stories of some of the greatest heroes and role models of Islam. The efforts and sacrifices of these people for the sake of Allah's religion will show us who we are and what we really are capable of when we have strong belief in Allah.

And besides 120 books, Imam Syed Abu alaala maududi also delivered thousand speeches which are now published in the form of booklets.

If Sayyid Qutb had moderation of Sayyid Mawdudi, Egypt could be the next Malaysia and Turkey. Kashmir needs hibernation like Surah Kahf to protect themselves from zina and gay marriage.
He did not mention the book’ Thafheemul Quran ‘ which is a touch stone to know Ustad Maududi well

The TRUTH of Islam, period: Quran (8:12) - "I will cast terror into the hearts of those who disbelieve. Therefore strike off their heads and strike off every fingertip of them" (No reasonable person would interpret this to mean a spiritual struggle.)

its bcoz of u people that people like me used to remain ignorant...will u plz read its context?plz read next few lines to get context...my brothers plz not let people like this fool you....here is the context of war..when disbelievers resort to war and you are in the battle field..u dont have to show your back to them....plz open your eyes brother and sisters.u urself read quran and life of prophets and never rely on these limited unreliable and TOTALLY MISGUIDING contexts.

The historical context for the above passages (Quran 8:12 and 8:15) is that it was revealed at the battle of Badr. A battle in which the disbelievers (Pagans) of Makkah travelled 100s of miles to kill Muslims in Madinah. The pagans had 1000 soldiers ,while the Muslims all they could gather to fight back in defence, they had only 300 soldiers. Even though Prophet Muhammad (p) had left Makkah to find peace for its community without being persecuted, oppressed, they once again were trying to terrorize the Muslim community. ...................come to islam brothers,....respect and love from me

No text without context. No meaning without context. Don't spread false impression by deconstructing a one thousand of a text from it's linguistic, social and historical context. Any wise man can understand that no writer would write a text in the meaning you are implying.
*The one who dislikes Abul Ala Maududi will either be Qadyanis , Deobandis, Ahli biddah Sufis/ Barelvis/ grave worshippers/ innovators and Ahli Hadeeth firqa..*

*False and blasphemous beliefs of Jamaat-e-Islami founder Abul Ala Maududi are presented below with reference:-* ★ (Part 1) 1. Maududi said, all prophets are sinners. -- (Tafhimat 2nd Vol. 57 p.) 2. According to Maududi, there was greed, lust, hatred, avarice, selfishness and revenge among the Prophet and Companions, who were defeated in the Battle of Uhud as a result. ---( Tafhimul Qur'an Volume 2 Pg. 60, Commentary No. 99.) 3. A hundred years after the Qur'an was revealed, it has changed. --- (The Four Fundamental Terms of the Qur'an pp. 14 and 15) 4. Maududi said, Our Prophet made mistakes in fulfilling the responsibility of His mission. ---- (Tafhimul 19 Vol. p. 286, Commentary No. 4, Four Basic Terms of the Qur'an p. 118) 5. Keeping a long beard like the Prophet (peace be upon him) or doing other things like the Prophet (peace be upon him) is a serious innovation and a dangerous distortion of the religion. ---- (Rasael and Masael vol. 1 pp. 182 and 183 no.) 6. If much is gained by the hadith, then the concept of authenticity cannot be relied upon. ----(Tarjmanul Quran page 267 volume 26 number 3) 7. Denying Allah's decree, Mawdudi said - "In cases where there is free intercourse between men and women, it is unjust to apply the punishment of rajam (as commanded by Allah)" (Tahfimat 2/281). Note - But Allah has given the punishment of death for adulterers. 8. Angels are things that the polytheists of Greece, India, etc. have fixed as gods and goddesses.."---(Tajdeed and Ehhayaye Din 10 p.) 9. Hazrat Adam Alaihis Salam was afflicted with human weakness---- (Tahfimul Quran Urdu, 3/123) 10. Hazrat Nuh (Alaihis Salam) moved away from the demands of the religion in terms of thought------ (Tahfimul Qur'an 2/344, 3rd edition, 1964 Eng) 11. A grave sin was committed by Hazrat Musa alaihis salam before becoming a prophet ---( Rasael and Masael 1/31) 12. The Holy Prophet was not free from human weaknesses That is, he sinned by succumbing to human weakness.---(Tarjmanul Quran, 85 numbers, 230 pages, Tarjmanus Sunnah 3/305) 13. Quran is not for salvation; Just for guidance ----- (Tafhimul Qur'an Volume 1, Page 321) 14. Hazrat Abu Bakr Siddiq Radiyallahu Anhu was completely unfit to fulfill the duties of Khilafat."---(Tajdeed and Ehhayaye Din 22 p.) 15. Hazrat Uthman Radiyallahu Anhu had the bad character of giving extra benefits to his relatives --- (Khilafat and Mulkiyat 99 p.)

The Moududibadis reject ismate ambia, innocence of Prophets and adalate sahaba the criteria of Iman And Amal as Same as Sahabaye keram...so they are ghumra and these Aqidas as kufri
