➤Dhanaji Jadhav :-
Dhanaji Jadhav (1650-1708) was a warrior of the Maratha Empire. Along with Santaji Ghorpade he made terrifying campaigns against Mughal Army from 1689 to 1696. After Santaji, Dhanaji became the chief of the Maratha army in 1696 and remained on the post until his death in 1708.
Dhanaji was born in or around 1650, to the warrior Maratha family from Sindkhed to Santaji Jadhav.
➤Sambhaji Kavji :-
Sambhaji Kavji Kondhalkar, Shivaji Maharaj's trusted lieutenant, who was also one of the ten bodyguards that Shivaji Maharaj had taken with him who chased Afzal Khan’s servants and eventually decapitate the leader so his head could be sent to Shivaji Maharaj mother as a trophy.
According to tradition, the two leaders Afzal Khan and Shivaji Maharaj agreed to meet unarmed to discuss a peaceful solution on November 9, 1659. (Both men hid weapons on their persons and brought bodyguards anyway.) When the moment came to greet each other, the towering Khan slid a knife from the inside of his coat and attempted to stab Shivaji Maharaj in the back. Wearing armor to protect himself, the Maratha king pulled away and swiped bagh nakhi, curved blades in the palm of his hand, across his enemy’s abdomen, slashing through Khan’s organs.
➤Firangoji Narsala :-
Firangoji Narsala was a Maratha warrior and military leader in the army Of Shivaji Maharaj, in 17th century India. He is famous for his defence of Sangram Durg, a fort, against a Mughal army led by Shaista Khan in 1660 .
Firangoji was a 'Killedar' (fortress commander) of this fort in Chakan (Pune). When Shaista Khan invaded Pune with a lakh of soldiers, he selected Sangram Durga as the first target. He attacked the fort with 20,000 soldiers on 23 June 1660.
Firangoji Narasala was prepared for this attack, however, even though he had only 320 soldiers. Just before this attack Shivaji Maharaj had asked his commander to leave the fort. However, Firangoji decided not to abandon the fort and instead started a fierce guerrilla war against the Mughals and defended the fort in this way for 56 days. War ended on 14 August 1660.
➤Mahadaji Shinde :-
Mahadaji Shinde (1730 - 12 February 1794) later known as Mahadji Scindia was a Maratha Statesman and ruler of Ujjain in Central India. He was the fifth and the youngest son of Ranoji Rao Scindia, the founder of the Scindia dynasty.
Mahadaji was instrumental in resurrecting Maratha power in North India after the Third Battle of Panipat in 1761, and rose to become a trusted lieutenant of the Peshwa, leader of the Maratha Empire. Along with Madhavrao I and Nana Fadnavis, he was one of the three pillars of Maratha Resurrection. During his reign, Gwalior became the leading state in the Maratha Empire and one of the foremost military powers in India. After accompanying Shah Alam II in 1771 to Delhi, he restored the Mughals in Delhi and became the Vakil-i-Mutlaq Mahadji Shinde's principal Advisors were all Shenvis.
➤Chimaji Appa :-
Chimaji Balaji Bhat was born in a Chitpavan caste family in 1707 and died in 1740, commonly referred to as Appa or Bhau, was the son of Balaji Vishwanath Bhat and the younger brother of Bajirao Peshwa of Maratha Empire. He was an able military commander who liberated the western coast of India from Portuguese rule. The high watermark of his career was the capture of Vasai fort from the Portuguese in a hard-fought battle. He was known to run strategy for the Maratha Empire and was known to plan all the battles for Bajirao.
➤Jiva Mahala :-
Jiva Mahala Is Known For Saving Life Shivaji Maharaj In Famous Afzal Khan Incident At Pratapgad Fort. He killed Sayyed Banda Who Tried To Attack Shivaji Maharaj During The Incident. In Marathi We Say That “होता जिवा म्हणून वाचला शिवा”.
