U can get more better guitarist in northeast india who are mostly just kids.... These guitarist are famous but not the best in india

This Reminded me of the great era of RSJ.. those bands and times.. So nostalgic..warren Mendoza for me will always be at the top from those era.. And the current generation of guitar players are on a different level.. Great vid.. Try to make a compilation of some of the best modern era of Indian guitarist.. Cheers!

Nice .. as an old timer , I remember Cyrus Tata ( Anand Shankar ) and Babu ( People ) as probably the pioneers of rock guitar in India from the 70s. Glad to see Mahesh Tinaikar of Rock machine ( Indus creed ) included. Eloy Isaacs of 13 AD from the 80s was a wonderful Guitarist as well. I know it is not possible to include everyone, but all the guys you did include are good. Prasanna was probably the pioneer in playing Carnatic music on an electric guitar , Iam sure he was in turn influenced by the late "mandolin" Srinivas.

Rudy Wallang is from Shillong. I am from North East and while our guitarists are good this guy may not have heard about them. Trust me, some of the best Indian guitarists may have faced rejection all their lives and died in abject poverty.

There is a difference between good and great...most of the listed are good..but not great...barring the likes of amyt and sushmit....rest are mostly minor pentatonic...so the list misses some crucial names who has a different touch..
