I'm 27yo and I'm new to Zelda. I've only played Botw and A link to the past. But yet, somehow, this franchise is so unique, so precious, that even without all the nostalgia, the Zelda soundtracks take me back in time and make me feel nostalgic. This one is magnificent by the way.

I play a lot of games but I never played Zelda but this track makes me feel so nostalgic. Maybe because old game music share a lot of characteristics? Anyhow, this music is a pure masterpiece.
I really love this rendition of the Fairy Fountain theme, probably my favorite next to the BoTW version. Starting up Ocarina of Time and no bombastic orchestra blasting, just mellow music, and then you get to the file select and then see this, truly a masterpiece.

Me too, I found a CRT tv and my older brothers N64 and starred playing Ocarina, unfortunately his Majoras mask cartridge is broken. I’m on the spirit temple right now. I had to use KZread to beat the water temple and it’s embarrassing my older brother beat this game when he was 10 years old back in 1999. No KZread walkthroughs or internet help Bach then. RIP Phil ❤ 1989-2016

so this is where the piano melody of Laufey's "From The Start" came from
I started playing Ocarina of Time in early 2000s when I was 5 years old. Amost brings tears to my eyes hearing this now. Crazy how music can tranport you to a completely different time in your life, especially one in which I barely have much memory of now.
I do not know why but as a child when I played ocarina of time everytime i heard that melody, I was getting immediately shivers and goosebumps and even a little afraid of it. nothing changes, just none scare. In fact, many of the sounds from this game evoked such feelings in me, to this day
I’m happy I found this, I wanna hear this for hours and know that there’s a beautiful world out there.
When you listen to this for the first time in 10 years. Omg so beautiful. This is the sweet sound of nostalgia. Makes me feel like I’m playing Zelda OoT MM and WW in my parents basement again
Music so Beautiful it can make a Grown man Cry.
So majestic.
Takes me back to happy times.
this game literally is my childhood
Ahh man, my nostalgia feelings has been activated
this changed the world
I remember my first time hearing this. I was 16 and I'd just bought it at a pawn shop for my ds, I booted up the game and played for a while. I remember just crying my eyes out for a few minutes. It's such a beautiful game and I don't know how it made those kind of emotions flood out. Ocarina of time is a work of art.
OMG ITS SPACE WAGON
Whenever I want to recollect on the good and bad times of my past, this is my ideal go-to song
this song helps me calm down and think abut life
Every time I hear this song, I can still hear the Fairy crying going into the fountain
This song makes me remember half of my childhood, thanks!
the memories this song brings, forever a classic
Ohhh I love this song so much... thanks!
This song brings me peace, tranquility and happiness every time I listen to it.
These types of soundtracks always make me feel something else, can't really put my finger on it.
As a BOTW player, when I hear this I just remember being smothered and drowned...
When I first got the spin attack I was like what the heck this is badass
the vibe i get from this is "something is wrong"

from THIS?
It's so weird how I'd never played any Zelda game as a kid, yet part of why I love the series so much now is because it has this nostalgic feel to it. I always knew about Zelda and it was something I always wanted to experience, but never thought I could. Nintendo wasn't popular in my country, and none of my friends played Zelda, so I thought of it as something inaccessible. But maybe its influence on games and other media was so strong that it almost feels like I got to experience some of it either way.
You can never discover the "regular" Fairy Fountain in Ocarina of Time for the first time... more than once. The black void, the gentle path, the simple-but-beautiful circle, the silently-flying -1UPs- Fairies, and this song. All are etched in my brain.
There is no such thing as max volume for this song 🤩
I’m not sure where I commented this, but I said something along the lines of “there’s a song by a band that sounds like The Bee Gees that has a song that sounds like this one.” This was years ago…I FINALLY FIGURED IT OUT! It’s “I just want to be your everything” by Andy Gibb.
Everything has a beginning and an end
I can never forget this song, possibly one of the most nostalgic pieces of music I know, whenever I hear this I almost want to be in the world of Zelda it’s just an odd feeling, I don’t even care about the dangers.
We waited so long!
This is just so good, it makes me forget the more complicated, and busy life I have now, and remember when I was a little kid
Another masterpiece
I don't even like The Legend of Zelda, but this saga has a incredible soundtrack, this song makes me nostalgic even when i didn't play any game of the saga
