Though most comments say it’s calming I feel some sadness. Like a nostalgia for moments that never happened, like missing a sweet lover you never had and understanding that being apart is okay, though some little hope is still there. Maybe one day. ... Thank you for this

For sure. The sadness is coming from the arrangement and instrumentation of the piano and ethereal vocals. The composition and structure utilizing a lot of minor notes will make it sound less happy and more sad.
