I love a well made slip joint. When the knife "tings" into the half-stop I get a little buzz. I really wish Spyderco, Benchmade and the like would do bone handles now and then, nothing looks as good as well jigged bone. Traditional knives are one of those rare objects that combine useful function with beautiful artistry like smoking pipes, eye glasses, fountain pens and watches.

Awesome review thanks, great to see a well used knife in a review. I hope to pick up one of these soon. Long time knife collector who is finally dropping back to just carrying a traditional knife.

This is my favorite GEC knife. GEC spoiled me. GEC outclasses Case to the point that Case should be highly embarrassed.
