Great Conversation with Nonagenerian Alemyangba Nokpu, on 24th June 2022
First of all I thank all my Viewers for your Love and support. Today I want to Share a video of a Conversation with a Nonagenerian. He is Alemyangba, Alang Imchen from Nokpu village, Nagaland. He is 95 years old, and he was born on 2nd October 1927. He did his Matriculation from Imphal, Manipur in the year 1953.
During the 1950's when the Political Scenario in Nagaland was tense, Volunteers were selected from every village to serve the greater cause of Nagaland. Mr Alemyangba was selected as a President from Nokpu village in 1953 and served till 1955. When he was working as a Volunteer, he was imprisoned in Mokokchung Locked up and Jorhat Jail . There in Jorhat Jail he was also appointed as a Secretary among the Political Prisoners from Nagaland.
