Nice to hear that "books can only be reread". For comprehension I'm always "rereading". Always felt in deficit.

Currently reading "Climbing Parnassus" and gleaning much. Resolve to remain civilized -- a worthy endeavor as I seek to read to redeem my less than stellar formal education. I'm so grateful for the time to read in my later years. Thanks for sharing.

I really don't have much time to actually read words on paper. I have been listening to the works of Dostoyevsky while driving, though. I've gotten through "Crime and Punishment" and "The Idiot" so far. I'm currently working on "The Brothers Karamazov".

I don't know if it's possible to give proper attention to Dostoevsky while driving, but it's better than no Dostoevsky at all.

Where can I listen to more of his lectures? There’s only two online that I can find. Would pay for it.

44:50 "or comic books that could waist time"? Ug! This guy should read comics. He would enjoy them.

Robert Cooper Congratulations on an unintentionally humorous comment. Perhaps if you read more books and fewer comics you might know the difference between "waist" and "waste".

Floyd Newman To be fair, I suspect that he knows the correct spelling. Some of us know our spelling and grammar, but our fingers somehow don't.

@@mohammedhanif6780 Punctuation and grammar matter. If what was presented in this video would be absorbed, then we would understand this simple, but important concept.
