So many idols ....my old stories frm grandfather's is that I also come frm Tibet I'm in India now

Gyalwa Tsangyang Gyatso, the sixth Dalai Lama who was from Tawang while going towards Tibet, he left an amazing feet prints on a flat rock at Pangateng* with one of his foot pointing towards Tawang while the other foot pointing towards Tibet. There, he stood for a while and sang the below stanza... ཁྲུས་དི་རྡོ་ལེབ་སྟེང་དུ། ང་ཡི་ཞབས་རྗེས་འཁྲུལ་མེད། ཞབས་མགོ་རང་ཡུལ་གཟིགས་པ། ཡང་བསྐྱར་མཇལ་རྒྱུའི་རྟེན་འབྲེལ།། Translation: On this clean flat stone, My feet prints are not illusionary. One foot points towards my birth place, Is a sign of auspicious to visit again. [* Pangateng is a spot above Tawang from where one can have last glimpse of Tawang before crossing over the hill.]

Never knew that there are numerous must-visit places in Tawang. I became so emotional seeing the path left behind by His Holiness The Great 14th Dalai Lama with a heavy heart along with millions of Tibetans from Tibet, leaving EVERYTHING behind. You are so lucky to be able to see our Fatherland that close. OMG! I had a goosebump!!! I wish to visit Tawang in near future.
