Words can’t describe how heartbroken I am feeling right now - can’t help weeping as I read the many beautiful tributes in this thread already even though it’s only been a few hours since the news broke of your passing. Olivia you were the soundtrack to my life as I was growing up as well as the paradigm of everything I wanted in a partner - and you brought me so many happy memories! Today we have all lost one of the world’s greatest musicals icons and most angelic voice! Gone way too soon, may you RIP Olivia! 😢

She made it seem simple and effortless, but her voice was very powerful. Sad to think she is gone. Seems surreal sometimes.

Whenever I watch Grease, this song always stands out from the musical for me. It almost feels like it was inserted from a different movie. The style is different from the other songs, and the quality of the performance of Olivia Newton-John levitates ways above the rest.

I can't believe i was like 13 when i watched Grease for the first time I'm now 44 now and I'm preparing to show it my daughters for the first time. This is up there with any classic movie or musical love song. ❤

I saw someone recently cover this song. They sang beautifully and had a wonderful voice, but nothing really compares to the magic of Olivia Newton John. So many of her songs, including this one, just knock it astronomically out of the park. It's still so sad to think she is gone.

This was a hit back when I was in the 8th grade. Watched at the Bardstown twin cinemas. My buddy's mom was the ticket lady. We got in free. Great memories.
