This was by far one of the best seasons that I have seen, city and liverpool fighting for the title, spurs and Arsenal fighting for top for and Leeds Everton and Burnley fighting for relegation. This was truly incredible. Edit: also united and West Ham fighting for europa league

Its very easy to laugh at his performances especially because of his price tag, but this interview in particular really gives good perspective on what it's like to be in his situation. He's been nervous, eager to impress but afraid to let everyone down, that's incredibly humanizing. Obviously as a Liverpool fan I suppose I don't want him to succeed but I guess I at least don't want him to go down as a massive flop, he's too good a player and a person.

Grealish was never in bad form tbf. He was just struggling to adapt to pep’s system, learning the positioning and stuff in his new team. Look at how he played for the England team in March, he was still one of the most creative player and did well.

We have all seen him this season, turning inside and just passing, cause as he says Pep doesn't want him to lose the ball. Hopefully next season, he will be better equipped to choose his moments when to take defenders on. This interview shows how likeable he is, what a decent guy.

He better show up next season, he managed 10 G+A between all competitions this season! 4 competitions and he just managed 10 points through all them. He really screwed himself in the middle of the season when he went out to a party after a big game. After that he got stuck in the bench for the rest of the season

It’s very interesting to hear that at times he’s actually scared to play his natural game because he’s so nervous to give the ball away. Hopefully his confidence will grow and he will feel more part of it and that he belongs there, and will take more risks next season. I think having a natural number 9 like Haaland will bring out the best in Grealish.

Comes across as a really likeable guy and got his feet firmly on the ground, very rare these days in football, hope this is the start of many medals for him.

We are all used to seeing Jack's raw talent as a footballer, that's what we've been missing this season. But he's understood developing his game will lead to moments like this in his career rather than individual performances!

So happy for jack, Hope he can kick on now & contribute massively next season👍

Envious of Jack's social skills. He may not be bright in terms of rational thought or eloquence, but seems to be able to make anyone laugh and smile and put them at ease. That in itself is a kind of emotional intelligence, an advanced ability.

He’s not a world class player when he’s feeling it. He’s had one top quality domestic season but no champions league or international examples of him showing his ability at the top level and this current season was very underwhelming. You spoke about expectations but it’s people like you prematurely giving him these types of praise that adds to the expectations. Relax and give him time to prove himself at the top level

Love to see a footballer be well and truly open about how they feel on the pitch, and how honest he seems to be. To have the confidence to say that he struggled to find himself in Peps system and how as of recent he has started to develop the way he plays is really refreshing. Not the usual “i needed to give 110%”

Jack Grealish is popular and liked because of how honest his interviews are, like he just speaks without thinking about what he should or shouldnt say

Comes across as a pretty good lad here. Really talented player aswell. Congratulations Man City on the title.

I really really enjoyed this interview. One of the best I've ever seen. Very informative and insightful about what goes on behind the scenes.

Grealish has been harshly judged this season. His G&A numbers are underwhelming by his Villa standards but his contribution to the team has been good overall. He's not looked to be the talisman at City as he was at Villa.

One of my favourite footballers! He’s just so real and himself! Always says what’s on his mind! Very likeable guy

As a Villa fan still feels weird seeing him in another kit, proud of him though! Always knew he’d go to the top from when he was 18 making his debut’s against city. Now he plays for them, he’ll be back in a couple of years!

Damn. Hell of a interview. Sounds honest and forthright. He's gained a new fan in the space of 6 minutes. I like it when players are honest about their nerves or insecurities about the game at times,, let's you see past their "perfect image." Just want to see the consistency from him now

1 year at city and hes got what hes been chasing for year's, i like the guy and im sure he will settle in by next season and show us what hes truly capable of.

Really sound lad, love how he can be himself on camera like that. Barely any footballers can. Hate to admit it as a Liverpool fan but well done City and see you next season.

So proud that he’s a blue, speaks truthfully, can have a laugh, genuinely gives us all a real insight of a footballer playing for Man City. Think he’s had a great first season, it’s about fitting in; he’s gonna be something special this guy

Such a great day of football, the fact that the title, champions league places, Europe league places and relegation places were all at stake on the last day was amazing, and every 10 minutes the table seemed to change.

He is so so spot on from 1:48.that u feel far more pressure being on the bench as compared when u r playing on the pitch.such an honest Interview overall.he spoke his heart out like random a guy.u cant hate the guy honestly.

@@plebiusjonbson823 What Grealish is saying is a very common experience for people in general and none of us need to have had any career of note in the game to know just what he means - when you are doing, you are not really thinking, you're just in the moment. It's when you sit still that all the doubts and distractions start to run amok.

Such a genuine, likeable lad. Hope he kicks on next season and proves many wrong

Great interview. Hopefully, as an England fan and not a city fan, well see Grealish with the shackles off next season. Hes still one of the most exciting players on the ball in this country and we need to get off his back.

Jack is so real. No robotic interviews like Harry kane, no disrespect. Genuine player as well

We never got to see the real jack this season but he has gone up in levels in terms of the quality around him & that can be difficult for people in everyday life let alone footballers,like he said he’s got the medal & 1st season under his belt & hopefully he can kick on next season
