Fodens natural control of the football is next level, the touch to set up the final ball each time, when playing Keepy Uppys with grealish was pure class !

jack looks really sharp, and walker seems to be recovering well some of that defensive work was unreal

I’m an Aussie but love watching these boys train and play, easily most likeable team in it

The one thing I noticed during the Iran game that all the boys were playing with a smile, enjoying their football. This training shows what an environment the players have created to make each other happy and perform as a team.

I'm beyond happy that walker is back and fit, he's a proper game changer when you have him in the defensive line, you can hold high and never need to worry about the odd loose ball over the top, that man gives wingers nightmares.

Lot more to defending than just one on one though. It's also about positioning, concentration, aerial ability, marking, defensive awareness in terms of tracking runs and knowing when to commit or drop off. If it was just about one on one defending Aaron Wan Bissaka would've be one of the best defenders in the league but people realised pretty quickly he severely lacked in other areas. Same seems to be the case with Trent. I hope and am sure he will improve but its not a case of him being as bad as "people say." He has just been that bad recently.
