Absolutely excellent game, tonnes of content and I personally really appreciate the relatively short length of the 5 stage main mode and the bite sized missions for my limited free time! So many great indie shmups in the last few months - looking forward to the next one this week (Drainus!)

Nice comment, personally I'm not big on modern shooter's. It's difficult because the older shooter's from the 90's were so good, and there were so many caliber shooter's. Maybe it's nostalgia or it's the fact they're that good. But I find this one, Drainus, Sophstar, Gunvein etc. They're all quality and I like what these indie devs are doing to move forward in the genre.

It's currently 20% off too. Fun game.

Just played this over the weekend and was surprised how fun it was. So much so I can’t wait to play it again, which usually doesn’t happen as I typically move to another shump after a play through.

Fantastic game! I played this game before the remaster and loved it! Now that it's on Switch with more features n stuff , I love it even more! lol might grab it on Steam too because why not. It's a VERY approachable game and highly recommended for those who want to get into Bullet Hells.

Absolutely love this and it’s probably the best indie shooting game and one of the best in general, that I’ve played. It’s like DoDonPachi meets Psyvariar meets GG Aleste with tons of waifus and husbandos!

This is real good!

I know this is called shmups on switch but a heads up for anyone who’s thinking of getting it on ps5. Your ps4 stick won’t work and you don’t get the option of the ps4 version to download, so it’s pad only. I like the game but I’m not going to play it much unless they patch in stick

I got the demo and it’s great. My only problem is the sound effect choice for hitting an enemy, it’s a constant nuisance and that stops me from buying it at the moment. Anyone else feel the same?

Is there tate mode support?

I have to say I have'nt played tons of shmup but this one has turned to be my favourite one of them all, this one Is the one that really got me good finally 😍 Not considering the loli character style (well drawn btw not even hating It, just not my Cup of tea) i LOVE everything from this game and how It plays portable on the switch, the length of a run, the screen size, the grazing, the menus, the achievements & unlockables, the training options, the various difficulties, all the ships designs and UI, graphics & bullets, even the fact that they made available a demo! all of it hits every possible right spot for me 😍 I'm having such a blast since It came out, love it

the leaderboard issue was actually patched on switch a couple of days ago

I can only assume you have no idea what mid 90's mobile phones were like. If you don't like the visuals, fair enough, we all have our personal preferences. But this game categorically does not look anything like a mid-90s phone game.

@@ShmupsOnSwitch Ok but it certainly looks dated even for mobile phone games of the past gen! They certainly could have put a bit more effort into graphics and added a smoother frame rate.

Why does every new shmup have this corny Anime nonsense attached to it? It's a mostly adult niche genre, so why do they make the aesthetics for babies? The artwork looks like something my 5yo niece would enjoy.

Wow, look at the Grown-Up here... Anyway. That's because more often than not, the targeted demographic for indie shmups isn't "adults", it's "otakus". They're the ones playing those kind of games, and, more often than not, making them too.

I kind of know what you're saying with some games, but this one's pretty fine to me. It's only the pilots, right? All the rest of the game's visuals are neither adult nor childish.
