I think that road could be closed because of the time of the year/snowy weather. In Switzerland and Austria they close mountain roads for the winter season in real life

17:42 driving all the way through the tunnel mentioning everything like fans and lights. But completely ignoring the closed lane sign, I call that gold. hahaha
Hooray more fernbus thanks Paul!
22:13 You should totally come to Norway! There are many roads with great scenery worth checking out.

Norway is one gorgeous country indeed!
If you try OMSI 2 again, try for one of the RHD maps, i.e. British style. BotW is quite good.

*Glad to hear you're thinking of doing more bus Sims*
9:27 You: accelerate bus Bus: you're sure? If you want i can make you a coffee, but I don't want to move
Love the debris on the windshield, surprised that SCS dropped the ball on this detail 🤔 1st Fernbus vid and loved it, thanks! I’ll never pass another bus in ETS or ATS without thinking about you 😂
Norway uses the yellow stripes on the road, and if i remember correctly it is partly because it is easier to see in the winter and under dirt. Sweden uses the colours of their flag for many of their signs, as does Denmark.

In Norway a yellow line in the middle of the road means two way traffic. Sweden has a yellow background on traffic signs with red borders, I think is that way in Finland.
29:25 "I went up a cable car. I did all kinds of crazy stuff"
I've been waiting for this for a loooong time. THANK YOU SO MUCH.
These videos are so meditating I don’t know why
Can't remember you doing it, but if you are going to start OMSI up again, Hamburg Modern is a brilliant map. Best done with the V7900 or Citaro C2.
You missed the truck crash in the tunnel right as you turned off to Wien at 29:10... Nice tour, very relaxing, thank you!

In the USA traffic light mountings vary from state to state. Guide signs are green, service signs are blue, and recreation/ historic signs are brown.
That same accident in the tunnel happened to SimUK. I feel like there's a bug in the hitbox in the tunnel or something like that. He ended up with the accident in the same way in a tunnel like that (along with the same sort of tailback and stoppage).
I might get this sim. Looks pretty cool. Great vid as usual Paul.
another great vid squirrel, thanks for taking time to play fernbus again, hope to see more
Yeah, such stuff as road markings, lights, high voltage pilons styles, even bus stop placement habits and railway platform styles changes across the whole Europe, including western, where difference can be spoted even when moving from city to city. And that is pretty awesome, as it makes to think why it differs.
This level of interaction with the functions of the vehicle is what Eurotruck and ATS needs imho, it is long overdue moving to the next level, optional interactivity keeps everyone happy.
Really like these series Hope you do More Of Fernbus Coach Simulator
Just saw this one. You're rightabout the power poles - those look like the one in Israel but the ones in Budapest are very different, as are the traffic lights and road signs. There was a funny moment when you found you forgot to start the journey on the mobile. When You talked about making the one day trip I was thinking you can't do that in Budapest, because there's a lot to see, but you're welcome to come.
Continue using this bus, i love it
What a relaxing time I had watching this, almost like watching an ASMR video 🤣🤣 great video
Wow, this game looks so fun. It reminds me of why I loved FSX
Thanks, lookin forward to OMSI, it's so funny when you're doing this! :D :D
In a bus in Finland in the snow is amazing it's like driving down a ski run.
Yes squirrel... bring on the OMSI!! Thanks!
Just bought Frenbus because of this video. Absolutely love it!
It was wonderful experience travelling in Fergus but I would like to travel on train and flight. You are doing great keep doing it.
Pls do more of this coz i enjoy watching you driving. Do omsi or flixbus
Yey, new Fernbus video!
great video looking forward to the next
I enjoy these bus videos as well. If the CTA (Chicago) bus simulator been updated, can you do that one again. I liked watching that one a couple of years ago you did. I live about 100 miles/160 kms from Chicago.
I love fernbus. Keep playing 24/7 pls 😀
this looks great
Love the fern bus videos 😂😂
If you do OMSI some time again, I recommend you look at some of the newer routes. I think there's a new French route that good and one called Bremen Nord that's also really good.
happy belated birthday Paul!!
Hey paul i have been watching ur videos since i first watch euro truck simulator 2 and that's how i got into playing euro truck simulator 2 it was awesome and my first video of ur euro truck simulator 2 was the 70 tonnes and that car that hit you in Glasgow
I missed your show for our birthday. Happy birthday.
it's actually hilarious how real this is
Travelled this route about 2 weeks ago with Flixbus :)
Keep these coming
The reason the electricity pylons always have three lines on each side is that AC is transmitted in 3 phases with each being 90 degrees out of phase with the one below it.
yet another awesome vid thank you
Would love to see some OMSI, really enjoy the bus sim content!
finnaly omsi(thinking) since june 2017
The history of that road: it’s not ready, should be with us in 1.18 beta from next week 👍🏻
You talking about the r1200gs in the mountains got me goosebumps

Hi Squirrel I'm loving the Fernbus Vids kepp the great content coming mate
read my hometown Graz, need to watch it.
The comfort class coaches have an accelerator glitch. Sometimes it suddenly sticks to the floor.
Heya squirrel , m one of ur fans . I love ur videos , i have watched ur entire ets2 series . Just change camera views while driving so that we can view the beautiful sceneries ... N , belated happy birthday ; )
Yaaaay new frenbus vid
Great video I really enjoyed watching I am thinking of buying it not sure what to do
Your videos are great keep up the great work
It's reassuring to know that I'm not the only person on Earth who's genuinely interested by differing pylons and road signs in other countries ;L
12:21 Flixbus can be one hell of a drug.
Hi Paul, when you lower the bus, if it is too low, it should bring itself up to ride height when you release the handbrake. (I'm a bus driver IRL)
Hey Squirrel, just want to point something out. I saw your Train Sim video of Semmering Railway last year. The Semmering Pass is located between Vienna and Graz, and is exactly as in the Simulator, albeit graphically richer and breathtaking. I had the opportunity to take the Railjets to and from those two cities, cos I had an interview near Graz. The closed road in this scenario is part of the Autobahn A2 that connects Vienna and Graz. However, the route the Sim made you take here is the Semmering Highway S6. Just wanted you to know, you might find it interesting. :)
Hooray more furnbus Thank you so much. I love this game. 🌈
I think that closed road might be part of the Italy dlc when it arrives
lovely
Sweden does not have yellow road markings, our is white aswell. Temporary lines and markings, like if there are a road work, are yellow though. And our warning signs are orange. If you see a orientation sign that is orange, it means that the road not are maintained by the goverment. Blue is the standard background colour on a orientation sign. Motorway signs are green in Sweden.
You should turn this into a mini series where you travel to a new city every video, leaving the one you went to in the last video. Just an idea though :p
Squirrel, in one of your Fernbus vids you said the devs should add some sort of AI bus drivers to make you feel like you are part of a transport network, @ 28:14 another Fernbus drives by
More fernbus and my summer car!
Honestly speaking this is the best, the sweetest game I've ever seen in my life, can I play it offline on my Android phone?
In Brazil, we have to different road marking colors. Yellow means it's a two-way street, and white means its a one-way street. The lack of color marking on other countries confuses me.
I love these

Otto Tuhkunen well it's a really shortened version of the old intro
Definitely would like to see some OMSI. For me personally, there's been too much of My Summer Car. I get that it's popular on this channel but I'm more into simulators and would like to see more OMSI, Fernbus, XP-11 and Train Sim (TS2018) on the KZread channel.
The bus might take a while to move cause maybe cause of the snow might be slowing its acceleration down a bit. Also why was the lane with x above it in the tunnel being used by other vehicles and you did u not notice that?
Oh, it's two years ago. Anyway, a yellow centerline in Sweden and Norway means, that there is oncoming traffic on the left side. It's not a one way road ;-) Otherwise the center lines are white on highways or on multi lane city streets where the traffic goes in your way in the other lanes too. I guess, on some lonely country roads one might forget if the other lane is for oncoming traffic or not and you want to overtake someone... But I don't know the reason, I'm just guessing ;-) When the speed limit went from 100 to 50 without a sign, it was because you entered a city (Vienna in this case). 100 is default in Austria and Germany on rural roads and the city signs are relatively - relatively - big, have a white background, a thin blue border and the name of the city in black on it (in Germany it's a small yellow sign with the city name on it. When you are not use to it, you might overlook it). I think, the city sign was too small in this simulation, but who cares ;-) On rural roads without a speed limit, the default limit is 100 and in cities the default speed limit is 50. That's where the change around minute 30:00 from 100 to 50 came from. And by the way, in Austria the green light flashes 3 times before it goes yellow and then red. In Germany it's without flashing - as in the simulator. So that detail was not correct, but well... ;-)
Do more of this please
Omsi would be great 😂
In Germany there's no sign that tells you that 50 km/h is allowed when you enter a city or town. The yellow square signs with the name of the city on it do. At 31:02 you see them telling you you're entering Wien. That means it's 50 km/h from now on, until you see those signs again with a red line through it ---> telling you you're leaving the city. I think more European countries use this kind of system? At least in the Netherlands it is the same --> blue signs.

And in Austria of course :P
Just a heads up that Fernbus is on sale atm at £18.89 on Steam. OMSI 2 is too btw.
Lovely jubbly... Oi, Del Boy :-)
In Austria aren't "Ausfahrt" signs bei "Abfahrten"
For the next Fernbus video, can you do Munich ZOB - Basel?
Yey your gonna play omsi again
I’m just waiting for SCS to launch Euro Coach, then we’ll have some fun with buses 🤣
So want this game
Be sure to check out Running Line, a model railway game about to be released on steam
How do you interact with the interior like you do, using your mouse and zoom? I can't figure it out
Oh yeah, OMSI would be cool!
Yay omsi!
Looks like National Express simulator :D
