If you ever get another chance to play the pre-alpha, can you do a zero to hero run? From a pistol to an AK or maybe militant kit?

It's really nice to see a studio not pussy-foot around showing raw gameplay for 2 years and instead just show it in a timely manner from multiple sources.

Enjoy that you show a raw gameplay loop. It gives me a lot more faith and peaks my interest more than the initial gameplay video drop.

Definitely needs a lot of security patrols around the villages & jungles. Also needs to implement enemies in the buildings whether just hanging around or entrenched

based on what they said what the aim for AI, with AI having routines and all, I hope it is possible, if you are sneaky enough that you can find hostile NPCs sitting around campfires eating or sleeping in these now empty buildings. I really hope they push the AI to its limit and hopefully set a new standard, but that is really big wishful thinking.

Yeah, both mercenaries and raiders and such Along with lower tier weapons (like an UZI for SMGs, M1 Carbine, etc.)

I really like that the gameplay feels slow paced similar to Arms games! This is truly a milsim kind of extraction shooter

Game has lots of potential that's forsure.

Man the persistent world is rly amazing. They did a awesome job at all the detail.. cant wait to hop on the pve servers lol.. if i wanna deal with pvp sweats ill play tarkov

finally some actual gameplay with no larping btw weird how it sometimes feels that you should've hit a running guy but seem to miss, either ballistic is pretty slow or if its hitscan maybe has something to do with armor, or hit reg idk

The devs said they have a realistic health system, where instead of HP there's vital areas and an amount of blood you can lose, so its entirely reliant on actually hitting areas that WOULD kill someone.

​@@LewdSCP1471AYeah but they seem super unresponsive. You can watch guys getting shot several times in the neck or limbs and they don't even flinch or stop smoothly walking. Meanwhile just taking a 9mm round *to a kevlar vest* can be pretty fucking painful and intense -- the actual trauma from hitting flesh should at least have some response shown even if it was super momentary.

@@boneiy yeah it kinda ruins a lot of the gun fights here, hopefully they fix it. The only other thing i dont like is the sound of the guns, there's zero echo

Looking great so far

Can’t wait for these guns to have the final weapon audio. This gets hard to listen to after awhile, I’m sorry to say.

To be able to pull up a map is huge, but I just don’t think you should have a live arrow pointing to where you’re at. Makes it too easy.

Visually it's looking great so far for being super early in development. I do however notice a few things immediately. One of those is - Lack of loot. It seems the only thing there is for loot are food, water, and meds. For it to have a weight system and a grid style inventory, tells me that loot may eventually expand. I certainly hope that will expand to have more loot centric elements to give it longevity though again it's early so hopefully we get more over time. Weapon sounds - again, need some love but not a big deal. Hit detection seems way off. Animations look good. Excited to see more from this team and game as time goes on. Can't wait for more extraction shooters to come out to sink my time and energy into! Thank you for the video Klean.

Beautiful scenery, gunplay looks great, sewing kit animation feels painful, love that reloading the mags with ammo doesn't take a year and a half All that is great BUT: that waterdrop notification noise has to go......"Puing"

You're the only youtuber who has played this game in a way that makes the AI look good. The rest just brute force clear everything and complain about the AI not reacting properly

​@@ryanwallace3101 Footage from the Ukraine war says completely otherwise. Just recently there was a video of 2 UKR soldiers pushing up on a Russian hiding in a shed. It took the Ukrainians an entire mag to immobilize the guy, he was still trying to escape during that entire mag dump. Armor is much more effective than you think it is - and the human body is more resilient than you think. A bullet to the helmet could very well deflect and not kill instantly. In some cases, 1 well placed bullet can indeed be all it takes.

@@ryanwallace3101 It is like real life and more people need to understand that, so many people have no clue what they’re talking about, especially when talking about police shootings, when they wanna monday morning quarterback the situation. Look at what someone else said about the Ukraine footage. But you can see it anywhere nowadays. First of all, people miss, a lot. Guys getting shots in the leg, but still running on adrenaline carrying 200 lbs of gear. Unless someone hits your off switch, you’re good until you bleed out, that can be 30 secs, but it can be much longer too. But you can fire a lot of rounds in just 30 secs. Hitting nerves can do things, like you can’t pull the trigger on this arm or move this appendage a certain way, diff scenarios. There’s an officer that was in a shooting where the driver was literally trying to execute him, and the suspect took so many shots including a headshot, but he was still coming. Finally the dude looked under the car where the officer was hiding and after multiple mag dumps from the officer, multiple shots hit, the officer hit him in the head and hit his off switch and the guy immediately went limp, dead. Now the guy had several fatal wounds, but those wounds take time to kill someone, either by them drowning on their own blood, bleeding out etc. That Cop now carries 150 rounds loaded in several mags as his every day carry. I mean, I bet you believe that nonlethal’s like rubber bullets or tasers are dependable lol, they aren’t really, but everyone can get lucky. The taser has to hit key areas with both prongs impaling the individual to work. Side note: it would be cool to have a system of arteries and off switches that are actually based in reality.

I want this game to be successful it definitely has a lot of potential but it doesn't have me hyped quite yet, they still have a lot of work to do imho.

Game looks wicked. Just want them to fix the gun sounds. I'd bet after a couple passes, and some adding some additional content this game starts to really shine. Fingers crossed. As a foundation it looks like it's gonna be a really good game to play with friends.

I'd also love to know if the map could be hosted and if it'll get touched by the modding community. Using this as a base world for something akin to what the stalker series has done it could hold a big piece of the survival fps genre.

Does anyone know if you can switch between the PvEvP and the PvE servers freely or is like 2 separate profiles/saves?

I wanted a new PC so that Tarkov would run better. Now I NEED a new PC for Greyzone Warfare (and also Tarkov).

Hopefully they add vaulting sooner then 7 years into beta. Also hope they have a proper anti cheat software and a good road map for NPC development. Looks good though and nice video good way to change it up some.

I’d like this game personally, my tarkov runs are pretty much 67% PVE cuz of the missions, at first i didnt like it and just went for pvp, but i came to enjoy the slow deliberate tactics you apply when facing AI enemies

Also i’m a helluva gun nut and i have a crush on the VZ 61, from the klobb, to the smg from gta san andreas, the concept of a slightly bigger pistol being a smg with a buttstock just fascinates me, yeah there are full size smg’s like the mp5, or chassis like the roni or pistol frames, but a dedicated buttstock pdw that’s only slightly bigger than a pistol just piques my interest. Pp91 kedr, SR2m veresk, all them smexy pdw/smg compacts

Will this be released on ps5??

only issue I have with this game is the animation looking a bit unnatural but its still testing. Other than that it looks promising

I really do believe, game studios releasing too much of their game, and running the media train, when still unreleased and unfinished, is what kills modern games on arrival. I have no doubt the same will happen to this game too.

I see not really mid map problems... no mid map negative effect plopping up behavior .. .. Is that a engine feature... or are the settings ar so high for that fottage. ?! all in all it sounds and looks very well made... the Engine detail would be also cool to know....

Nothing is stopping enemies from doing that, however it’s a 42km2 map so it would be a long hike to get anywhere near their LZ locations Plus also needing info on where those locations even are. To then be there at the perfect time of someone calling for extraction will be very rare

is the pre alpha and early access press only? Because its pretty dumb that streamers and content creators get a leg up on everyone else when it comes to map knowledge etc. I think they should let more people in if they're going to do this.

As always the look of a UE5 game is breathtaking. And I know this a pre Alpha build but the AI look as dumb as rocks when it comes to detection and response. At around 6:00 you take a guy out in the street then pie the wall and drop a guy standing ten feet away staring at the wall as if a gun fight 10 feet away never happened. So AI needs serious work done to it or the game won't be what it could be. I think this is an up coming issue with shooters. Dumb AI kill immersion and unless I miss my guess that's what we are all after, to be drawn in so deep that you forget.

Here to read all the salty 'this will never replace Tarkov ' comments 😅 Great to see some actual proper gameplay!

My biggest concern is exfilling. If games like Tarkov and DMZ have taught me anything it’s that the cesspit of humanity love to sit there all day and kill you on your way out. Hope they move exfils around and make it harder for lazy players to ambush you.

O som das armas é muito genérico, gostaria de um som mais realístico e agudo com um grave assim como um disparo real. O boneco se movimenta muito rápido e não deveria ter que dar tantos tiros para neutralizar o inimigo, fora isso, achei bem promissor.

Yeah the idle poses are pretty iffy, hopefully they rework the animations at some point.

The concept for this game is chefs kiss. If the devs are watching I’d love to see a mode where players can scav in like Tarkov but control a small element of AI like ready or not

way to go yet! Gun don’t sound great ,no depth to the sound. No sound also of bullets going past your head. Looks smooth but no where near as intense as they made it sound etc. squad is better and tarkov just never gonna put down by people for this! Hour or 2 at most 😢

To bad we didn't get to see much in the way of looting.

Offline server max 100 FPS ( most of the time 70-90FPS) is going to be shit show when server is populated and has a lot of action game will be hot mess at 30fps max for regular pc owners
