Nope, it has the same 288 pages as the standard edition, However the special edition has invisible ink, removal pictures and additionals like the "nathaniel northwest code" and "mabel's do you like me note"

@@jokerjoker8091 It doesn’t have any extra pages, they’re just made of vellum which is way, way thicker than the paper used in the standard one, which makes it look like it has more pages.

It is a cool book, but i had expected much more from it. I had almost bought one, but i thought it was going to be like one of those home made versions, with real metal stuff and leather bounded

Hi, I know this is a comment to a 5 year old video you've made a long time ago, but if it doesn't bother you, could you please answer me this question I have about the special edition? You see in the Amazon descrpition the book is said to be printed on real parchment a feel more thicker, but from what I've seen the paper seems to be the exact same that of the standar edition. Is it really printed on real parchment or is it just the same, and as well does the paper also feel a bit thicker to you? I am not quite sure myself because many reviews of the book dont mention this fact and neither the Gravity Falls wiki clarifies this, only citing the Amazon description, also the Sustainable Forestry Initiative label that the standard edition had doesn't appear the end of the book, probably because the special edition was manufactured in China, so I can't tell if Disney used the same paper and that the " printed on real-parchment" stuff was cut in the proccess of production. I know this is a long comment and you don't really have to answer of t answer everything of this question, or anything at all, like some of this stuff is super specific and is just out curiosity, but I would be really grateful if you could clarify me this, even if you don't have the book now, some small recollections of what the book felt 5 years ago would be really helpful. Thank you for reading

Miguel Ramos I used the blacklight because they used it in the show. It was more for fun than anything else. I'm sure a regular flashlight would have had the same effect. :)
