On top of that, instead of facing the opposition with valid reasons and proper data regarding the budget to show her plan as the more viable one, she resigned - or in other words ran away. Such people should not be the ones leading a country. And the move of demanding a one party government? She had the audacity to tell that she wanted a one party government, so that she can rule over them all? That's very democratic isn't it lol? Sweden has a far right party most of the other parties refuse to cooperate with cause they don't want to legitimize their politics. This budget was proposed by them in co-operation with 2 other parties. Prior to the last 2 elections all parties promised they would not co-operate with a far right party, but after the right suffered defeat some conservative parties went back on their word. All the other parties still maintain this policy but are more pragmatic than the greens. They don't think following this budget mean they legitimizing far right politics. • @Lostincyberspace100

    @Lostincyberspace100

    2 жыл бұрын

    No one actually has a majority in parliament, the opposition budget had more votes, but only a plurality, not a majority. The 2 votes ended up with different results because the prime ministerial vote and the budget vote function differently. Prime minister is elected by so called negative parliamentarianism, meaning the prime minister doesn't actually need a majority of votes for them, they just need to not have a majority against them, which means that abstaining basically works like a yes vote. The budget vote on the other hand pits 2 budgets against each other (the final round of budget voting anyway), and whichever gets the most votes wins. The left wing government depends on the support of the Centre party in order to have a majority, they were willing to abstain in the prime minister vote, which was enough to let Andersson through, but they were not willing to actively vote yes for the left wing budget, so they abstained in that vote too, handing the victory to the opposition.

    What's undemocratic? The democratic process of the country? She can still be MP but prefers to be so for a single party. Open your eyes and see the madness unfolding before you: Look up, The former head of a Muslim school in Sweden is accused of scamming millions of Swedish kronor from taxpayers and funnelling the cash to Somalia where it funded an Islamist group. Look up, Sweden gives welfare to IS leader. They're paying the groups who are committing genocide in the name of Islam against all non Islamic cultists to create massive migration waves to Europe where the majority are followers of Islam who will become voters of social liberal party and give these liberal globalist the power they need to create a authoritarian government that rules over all while also forcing everyone to submit to a single religion, one of slavery, islam. Look up, white widow islam. Look up, Samantha Louise Lewthwaite. Either these liberal feminists want destroy the tribes of Africa, or the jihads are abusing them into the cult to destroy the black tribes. These are the people behind the social liberals and dark plans they have.

In a few days there will be a new prime minister election in parliament where she most likely will be elected again but with only her party in the government and the other 3 left-wing parties as assisting paries but not government parties.

    Its a matter of perspective. In Scandinavia we have a democracy, where its absolutly normal to implement politics from several parties, if they have the mandate to back it up, therefor with this system we make sure all voices will be heard. When she resign because she only want a 1 party politic, i see it as spoiled and undemocratic behavior. We have democracy for all to have a voice, democracy is not a single party govournment… that would be a beta-dictatorship. Russia forexample claim to have democracy, but thats a single party govourn. And thats why she quit, cus a part of the politics in economic came from the right wing

It would be a very awkward position for her to lead a half government. The reason things are weird in sweden right now is because there is no side of parliament that has a clear majority so constant compromises has to be made always. And the prime minister is not like a US president, the prime minister doesn't have much more power than any regular parliament member and has to be supported by the whole government/>half the parliament
