You're so naive and dumb; you didn't even hear the audio of this program fully: India (and China too) are among the top producers of garlic in the world! For India, it is still insufficient, may be because (1) 1.4B population, (2) Indian garlic is exported (for higher profits) to foreign countries (again, see the video fully), while there's still a lack of sufficiency for local consumption. You can't have your cake and eat it too!

Reminds me here in the Philippines were our government warned of illegally imported Chinese vegetables that are now being sold in our public markets. The Philippine government warned these vegetables from China contains chemicals used to preserve and make the vegetables look more fresh and shiny but can be dangerous to the body when consumed.

chinese garlic is the cheapest variety in Australia and you get a bag of dozen bulbs for just $2. I have to admit I bought it when I didn't know anything about chinese garlic. Regular garlic is 10 times pricier.

😮🙏 OMG! Yes , the Vegetables , Spices , Fruits , Nuts , or Meats & Creatures from the water , their nutrients' or poisons came from the soil , water , feeds & environment of their farms ... No wonder real & genuine Manuka Honey is so expensive because the Bees collected their honey & pollens from more pristine flowers around them in New Zealand 🌿🐝 ... 🙏 Thank You So Much WION for this Public Health Announcement!

I started growing my own garlic this year. Chinese garlic is sold through all our main supermarkets here in Australia. I’ve never seen Indian garlic for sale here. Apparently the Chinese garlic also gets irradiated before coming through Australian customs so there must be almost zero nutritional value left after that.
