That is the amount of 4 months and we have the rain statistically distributed over the whole year. Really really unusual for germany this event. At some places the last all time high was 3.72m and this time the last indication was 6m before the gage was washed away.

I'm sure they have disaster funds set aside for situations like this...This is not a struggling mismanaged developing country we're talking about here. Germany is well-oiled machine, they will rebuild and bounce back in no time.

What kind of diseases? We have water in bottles and clean food more than we can eat and drink. The real damage is the people who died. We could share much more, even after this crisis. I hope the Germans become aware of their responsibility for the world.

In India, these kind of floods occur every year and government doesn't give any $h!t.

Indian Govt. does what it can. At least it gives warning and EVACUATES people on time. European govts did nothing. Don't be such a white-skin worshipper.

Never seen flood like this exist in Europe. In Indonesia its like an annual disaster

May the Great I AM touch all suffering from tragedies & bring peace, joy, hope, mercy, strength, & deliverance in Jesus name amen.

Why is this not very much on mainstream news? Or is that a silly question? My sympathy to all the people affected by these terrible floods.

Prayers are being sent to all effected: those both directly and indirectly. I AM truly........Speechless!!! My daughter and I WILL seek ways of support to send from here in the USA. My heart is truly heavy and I sincerely wish peace in your recovery. Love and Light 💘

@@ericsamuelaguirre5709 developed countries should have better management than a developing country.. but it seems, these so called developed countries buckle when natural disaster happens, whether it's covid or flood.. why they call themselves developed then.. India is sub continent, a lot more population and internal problems. Still it did relatively better than USA, Spain, Italy in covid management.. flood in Bihar is due to Nepal. They don't construct dams and not let us construct either..

Neither did anyone notice The millions of people that didn't survive the concentration camps in Germany, a long long time ago... Their tears cried, would have flooded the streets, valleys and rivers of germ- many, many many times over. People forget, but God ain't a people that He can forget.

That old car at 3:56 is probably the only passenger car in Europe that still works. Rain and flooding happens. Something else has severely disrupted the drainage. The newer water impoundments may possibly not be fit for purpose

I live in the West USA Oregon, we had a "heat dome loop" this month that was a 1 in 10,000 year event. We have had no rain in months. Why is one side of the earth completely dry and the other has days of rain?

The "magdalena flood" from 1342 was definitely worse. Some inbetween similar to that last week. But you can say it is between a one in a century to one in 5 centuries flood.

that was the same time the sun went quite, sun's cycles are forecast to be weak to about 2055 as the length this cycle not so long but high chance food production will become an issue globally like most other solar minimums have cause through history. look through china dynasty collapse history, they mostly all seem to have issues when sun is quite / cooler times

The earth was once a water world.

We had similar floods in Central U.S. 13 years ago. Government didn't seem to care much. But only 1 death!
