The problem is India. There is only one air entry to Nepal. Nepal gov asked India more air entry in order to use two international airports (Bhairawa & Pokhara), but India did not give acces therefore all airlines have to use only one air corridor mean long distance . it is not economical viable to use both airports. India does not like to see China influence in Nepal. There is nothing about safety it about India dominant.

Pakistan Malaysia Sri lanka is a complete example of Chinese investment. Now nepal

If India had given the flight clearance there would be international flights here. Same with Gautam Budha Airport in Bhairahawa. China should definitely create a base for 99 years. At least we’d start to repay the loan.

Same thing happens with our hydropower dams as India doesn’t buy the electricity if built by Chinese investments and all the contracts India has taken haven’t been developed in nearly half a century. They only want to grab it and not build. Even the ones they start never finishes to completion.

And regarding hydropower, its our wish if we want to buy it or not .You have made them for your people or Indians?? So many Nepalese still live without electricity, go give them electricity first . And regarding air routes, Himalayas are a tough terrain to operate an airport, even Indian Himalayan states face such problems.

Look up and tell me which Country is Profiting between China and Nepal. China’s Debt Trap Policy is not hidden and Secret anymore. Tell me is the CPEC between China and Pakistan completed even after a Decade. India and USA warned Sri Lanka to not build the Hambantota Port cause no Ships Traffic will divert their Normal Route. But Sri Lanka went ahead with Loans from China and now the World knows what happened to Sri Lanka. Now Maldives too is going the same direction.

They like you only and only if you're offering things for free.

By the way, China has full contrl over that airport.

I have been living in Nepal for the past more than two years. Never have a I seen people protesting against China in one way or the other. Where is this protest coming in from? This so called imaginary protest is coming in from the mindset of Indian media especially Gravitas.
