No, they do not have to respect her nor accepot her. She has yet to attend any Palace function. They way she went about it cost her what she really wanted and had, her father, she stipulates he had been a part of her life growing up and her mother supported the King and went along based on her own sense of patriotism. Make no mistake about it, this is all about money, an attempt to monetize a Royal Title like Meghan and Harry had in mind. Little know fact, the new King can strip royal titles, I predict he will do so within 6 months.

Why? We live in the year 2021 and children should not have to pay the price for what their parents did. Illigitimate children have the same rights if they are common people....or is that different in belgian? Do illigimate children have not the same right to inheritance or to be cared for by their father? Why should it be different in royal families? Why should she not have the same rights than her halfsiblings? The idea that illigimate children should have less rights than children whos parents are married put the shame on the illigimate children. And it gives the unfaithful royals a good excuse. Now they have to stand in for what they do, they have to take the responsibility. If the royals don't want illigimate children to become royals now, they can do it very easily: by staying faithful to their wifes/husbands. So thanks to Alberts heartless actions by deniying his own daughter Belgium has new rules now. Blame Albert for it - she would probably never have done that if he would have been a better father. But to tell a daughter - after all she knew him, he was part of her life growing up - "you are not my daughter"....big no no. She did well, she did not let him take her down....she told herself and the whole world: Okay, if my father does not want to know me anymore, I stand in for my right and make sure that I have the same rights than his other children.
