great video.. i used to have non-PNP version Gravis Ultrasound card very long time ago. It was pain to emulate SB. I remember that I used with real SB card. that's much easier to work with. Ultrasound was used for MOD player(fast tracker, etc) and PC DEMO. I remember native support from Star Control II - it has great sound track.

I love this card - it works very well - and for all who wants a gus - buy this card (:

The GUS sound is one of the few things I remember from the PC era. Easy to forget among the awesome other platforms. Great video. Greetings from Gossen :)

I own one and I can say It was one of the best purchaae I've done...especially if you like demos and mod music

I still have my original Classic GUS non-P&P, the one from 1992. I also have a Sinclair PC200, but it's not suitable for my GUS as it's only a XT class PC. I used to run a BBS with all utilities, patches and MIDI files. I would secretly call long distance to Canada to download the latest drivers and then put it on our BBS. I don't know what the phone bills were at the time 😱 I had a fun time to figure out the Mega-EM and SBOS utils to run SB games, it was a real dog! But It was a fun time 😉

A beautiful card, rather a valuable piece.

I have the original Gravis Ultrasound MAX and the GUS PNP replica, both are great cards, great sound. only sometimes there are problems with sound drivers and then long hours of searching for errors and solving the problem

I'm trying to install the orpheus II under win98SE and it recognises the card but it doesn't install the drivers automatically... I tried everything without success

Nice video, had some nostalgia watching this 😂 One thing, please skip the blinking, flashing and hypnotized anime in the beginning of the video. Made me sick and very annoying 😎 Otherwise, keep up the good work 💪🏼
