That's a unique setup with the tarp, given that one often hears about the mosquitos in Scandinavia. Did they not bother you? Will there be a video covering this amazing bike trip?

Yes, this setup worked super well. But you heard well, the mosquito attacks were insane! We regretted to not have the tent just because of the mosquitoes 😅. It went better when the temperatures dropped 🥶. Yes a movie is in the making but we do not have an idea yet for the release date

hello, Encore qq petites questions * vous avez indiquée le volume, mais pas le poids de vos bagages ? * Votre sac de couchage vous permet de dormir confort jusqu'à quelle température ? * vous mangez que de lyophilisé ? vous arrivez à en prendre pour combien de jour ? * Comment faites vous pour avoir assez de batterie, vous devez charger en cours de route, non? Ces questions, car pour ma part, j'ai un gros sac de couchage et suis trop chargée, mais je ne saurez pas trop quoi enlever et dormir dans un hamac, comme j'aime bien dormir sur le ventre, pas certaine d'y arriver. Je galère aussi tout le temps avec mes batteries externe. Peut-être que je les utilise mal, mauvais stockage... je sais pas.

What a lovely couple u are! I use Ortlieb bags as well but didn't know they have fork bags (As yet, I haven't seen them here in Australia. Are they fairly new addition to their range?). How do they attached to the forks? TIA.

Thank you it’s adorable 🙏🥰 Not sure if it’s a new product or not. But they are available in the European market. We clearly recommend you to have a fork with 2 or 3 screws to fix the support. They provide a system if you do not have the inserts, but it’s not the best to hold for a long time. Hope it’s helpful 🙏

Great video guys! What bibs did you guys wear during the trip? .. and first of, is it really worth using any bib shorts during gravel bikepacking? Maybe using non-padded cloths would work better for such long rides? Thanks

Thank you 😀🙏. We used clothes from Sunn. Honestly, it’s really depending of everyone. If you’re not too sensitive, go for normal clothes but you need an extremely comfortable saddle. But for such long distances, we think that padded clothes are mandatory 😬

Wahnsinn 🤯 wie viel Zeug ihr dabei hattet. Ich habe auf meiner 4 Monaten Radreise grob die Hälfte dabei gehabt und habe auch überwiegend draußen geschlafen. Schöne Grüße aus Deutschland 🇩🇪 wo ich gerade mit dem Fahrrad 🚲 daheim angekommen bin nach dem Donauradweg, Türkei 🇹🇷- Zypern 🇨🇾- Rhodos 🇬🇷 und Kreta Umfahrung geht es jetzt über den Balkan zurück in Richtung München meiner Heimat nach 12.000 km Ultraleichter Radreise. 🚴

That Ortlieb handlebar bag is very far from being perfect. I can say that as I purchased one with my own money and have been using it for a couple of years. Access to the contents on a drop bar bike is terrible. A harness and drybag setup, such as those from Revelate Designs or Restrap is a much better option.

We explain what to pack inside to make the best of it. We just used it for the camp and in this way we did not have to open it during the day 👌☺️
