The behaviour of the chassis is very realistic indeed, at full speed it is almost hard to appreciate how dialed it is.

excellent video sir! keeping it close in frame made the speed look more true to scale.

I completely agree with you, no RTR is perfect but the layout on this one makes up for the lack of power, I think.

This is so satisfying in slow motion

Now that Axial is releasing the builder's kit (not in stock yet: pre-order only), I started watching some of these older videos. I've always been into big, fast, tough bashers, so I don't know if this truck excites me. At the moment, I'll say that it intrigues me. One HUGE PLUS is that there is already good aftermarket support for the SMT10 and plenty of videos on what to upgrade for both durability and driveability. I may get a builder's kit and see what I can do with it.

Fantastic location for this shoot of the awesome Axial GraveDigger, I wish I had it and a quarry in my backyard!

wooooo be time to tear down and clean after that rock and sand yard run lol and definitely the only down side is speed especially if ur used to traxxas but scale and realistically man o man I'm getting one of these but definitely going with brush less and 3 s lipo and I think problem would be solved or so I hope lol great vidio man!!!!

Brushless will indeed solve it, scale speed is pretty much on point but it lacks in the torque department, and in top speed to make it an awesome truck. It has enormous potential, and I know it will be fun to upgrade it.

Nice job man, great bashing spot! I think this may have convinced me to get an Osmo.

Takers a bit of getting used to, but the picture quality is pretty hard to beat, Aaron. I still love shooting with my DSLR, but if you don't want to carry around a bunch of gear this thing is the ticket.

Here is what i think Axial should do some time in the future with there new Monster jam line: brushless, maybe a Hi/low trans for high speed and big air, or slower scale speeds, maybe have 4 wheel steer kit for it, maybe even a sound system like some of the new Traxxas models have.

Hey, CHRIS , WHAT'S going on, love the video, have you noticed that the wheels on the grave digger hit when turned hard left.I have gone ahead and add wheel wider as to take care of the miner problem (rc4wd) #Z-S0407) 12mm, And have changed the tires to bigger wider and still playing with the sound issue's and which sound chip I will use, maybe even add rear steer as well.Take care brother and keep us up to date, we all enjoy the real deal. It is bone stock, I think it barely hits 20mph on a 3S lipo, but the handling is great!
