Everybody else was very conscious while giving speech as it was in presence of President in rashtrapati bhavan.....but here is a man who gave so valuable thoughts with tinge of homour as opposed to everyone with same old rhetoric without any entertainment. 1.respect everyone who works for you 2.on your own you are alone 3.gratitude should be the attitude Kudos shahrukh ....

This man is the reason I started watching Indian movies and I've been stalking him virtually ever since I made eyes on him. It's always a pleasure listening to him. He's so witty and he's that one Indian I'm in love with

Nadz Same here. I’m from the Philippines. SRK is incomparable! I’ve been watching a lot of previous videos and movies of him and I was really amazed of this man. Oh my...he excels in everything he does! His hard work, dedication, talent, wit and charm made him of what he is now. He’s well deserved of the fame and success he has now. I can say he is so blessed coz he’s such a good person and has a good heart. That’s why he is well loved by the people, be it Indians or foreigners. India is very lucky to have him. Shahrukh Khan is a once in a blue moon superstar that India needs, not the one it deserves though ( considering that inspite of doing so much and making India proud on countless occasions on international level through his work - both films and philanthropic, he is called in to justify his patriotism at the drop of a hat by politicians and their party workers spewing hatred against this fantastic out of this world man just for their vested interests.) He is the truly the dark Knight of our hindi film industry. He will doing his bit... Keep spreading happiness through his work and inspire generations while facing the backlash of assholes. What a personality, man! How many can boast of such intellect, such talent and hold on his art and craft, such great oratory skills, an amazingly wicked sense of humour, so respectful of ladies and everyone actually and all this while being the sexy stubbled handsome man ( go see Harry met Sejal and you will know what I am talking about) who is the richest actor in the world. And the most fantastic fact of all, is that he became all this on his own - from a humble background to the King of Bollywood revered all over the world. Phewww... People write books on him. It was such a pleasure to see Shahrukh Khan on that dignified stage and for him to be honored in such a special manner. Truly heartening. A well chosen personality. Someone who hasn't been honored as much by his own country as various other international governments have been able to do. So thank you. Also, I was hoping for a much serious speech, even though it was as usual charming and straight-from-the-heart. But then I remembered something SRK had mentioned in his Yale visit. That no matter how many responsibilities and recognitions he's given, he's not going to change into a serious person just to play that role. He will remain the way he's always been. So I absolutely respect him for that.

In the list of 50 greatest actors of all time in the world, Srk is the only name from Indian to be in that list. I really think SRK is the greatest actor that India has ever produced because I belong to South India and I don't know a word in hindi during my childhood days but SRK has a magic that even kids can understand his emotions without knowing the language and TBH I saw other actors in the same age but neither I could understand the Hindi nor their acting. But because of SRK I started to understand Hindi now even after becoming a grown up and an avid Bollywood film lover. I still think there is no one who can act like him. In veer-zara as an old man the way he shivered his hands and the voice he changed to a weak old man's voice is flawless. In Om Shanti Om the difference he brought to 2 characters like a humble loving sensitive Om the aspiring actor, and cool stylish easy-breezy and little impatient Om the superstar is so amazing. Even though I didn't like Devdas for one reason as he keeps saying Chandramukhi "mai yahape aata hoon ki thume bardash karsako" many-a-times than the original but his performance was spectacular. I also think he is a versatile actor he did out and out comedy in Chennai Express and villain in Baazigar and Autistic in My Name Is Khan as a serious and strict coach in Chak de India and psychologist in dear zindagi and army officer in Mai hoon na, nasa engineer in swades he is not just great only as Romantic actor I think few PPL try to take away stardom and good name from him as an incredible actor.
